| Why doesn't my password work? |
| On June 21, 2004, we moved the board to new software. All accounts, messages, and profiles have been saved, but everyone's passwords have been scrambled.
If you are unable to log in with your current password, you will need to get a new password by clicking the Forgot Password link on the login screen. |
| YEStalk Site Policies |
| Members of YEStalk are encouraged to post openly on a wide range of topics, dictated primarily by the membership. Please show respect for other members of the site, and communicate with them as as you would if you were in the same room with them. What the staff, by consensus, deems as inappropriate posting, will be handled on an individual basis. We encourage dialogue between members and site staff, so feel free to call upon the staff with any questions or concerns. We hope you enjoy your time here! |
| What is QuickScan? |
QuickScan is a system to help you keep track of unread threads in the forums. With the QuickScan system, threads remain visible in the forum display until you mark the forum as being read. The threads remain visible even if you close your browser or log off.
There are 2 ways to view the new messages
You can view new messages in any ONE forum by clicking on the forum lightbulb. The forum lightbulb is the little graphic located to the left of the forum name. The lightbulb changes, or lights up, when there are new messages in that forum.
When you click on the forum lightbulb, you will see ONLY threads that have new messages. Older, inactive threads are not visible at all.
You can view the new messages in ALL forums by clicking on the QuickScan, located near the top of the main page. The QuickScan is just like above, except that it shows the new messages in all of the forums. |
