Re: Wow where'd everybody go?

Still listening and still enjoying with utter pleasure. Their uncertainties, along with our own, have contributed to the larger picture of 'losing the faith'. "High the Memory", if nothing else, will sustain us.

Re: Wow where'd everybody go?

Well, for what it's worth, my job has taken so much of my time, I hardly get to go home anymore. In Ohio now trying to expand the reach of this firm I'm currently employed by. I have missed YEStalk greatly and unlike times in the past where I found myself dealing with what seemed to be an endless st...

Re: PLEASE, ALL YES GUITARISTS!

Welcome to YEStalk, friend. I wish I could help you, but alas, I cannot. However, we do have many guitarists here at YT that perhaps could give you a hand. That being said, I need to inform you that there is another forum in which you can discuss this topic at greater detail, so I will leave this th...

Re: At This Moment Part II

Preparing a 3-month relocation to Ohio ( for business purposes ). So, having been there ( no offense to any Buckeye ), I'm not sure what I'll be doing when not working. According to Chrissy Hynde, must be alot of shopping malls which don't really do much for me. Any suggestions?

Re: Getting a bit sick and tired...

For the longest time, I had quite a bit of a problem with a YES w/o Jon. That being said, it would appear by all reports that a serious effort is being made to resurrect this grand name. There is something to be said for anyone who can even partially fill the shoes of some of these laddies! Complex ...

Life kinda takes unexpected twists and turns and sweeps one away....at times. But somehow, most of us find our way back home. 30? C'mon, Eric! Wait till you hit 53. You won't feel much different.

Re: Ignore the SPAM Messages in Your PM Box!

Yeah, I feel poorly about falling out of the herd, but it's been a rough ride plus two and I am so grateful to you, Diane for keeping the place clean in my absence. I will be here considerably more often now...hopefully with the kind of regularity that was once dependable. Ed has really outdone hims...

Re: Jon and Rick Disappointed

I'm sure we will, HTM. Thanks, Chris. It surely has been a long while. Your point is well made as the alternative is without a doubt, totally undesirable. Sure would like to know what the future may hold...the near future, that is. ; )

Re: Jon and Rick Disappointed

Though I wish them luck, I can't see YES doing well without Jon at the helm. It's been so long, though, it's hard to say what will come out of it. Been a way a while, btw, and am glad to see the flame still burns regardless.

Re: To be over

You certainly have every reason to be doubtful. That being said, still, we don't really know with these guys. This being my favorite YES number of all time, I won't be able to get Jon's voice out of my head for the next week! ( been listening to DRAMA alot of late )

Re: Yessong of the Week - And You and I

This one song is so representative of the true YES sound! Simply beautiful! Not my favorite, mind you, but I would imagine that if it were to fall on the ears of a person never having been introduced to YES, they would be most impressed. How could they not be?????

I do very much appreciate your contribution here, C & C. Still, I would respectfully request that all posters do review this forum for pre-existing topics such as the Moody Blues. It's here and hungers for additional input. Thank you for your consideration.

Re: GTR

Well, I'm not surprised that so many found it "poppish". However, I hear a high degree of dynamics with an extremely powerful and pervasive sound. I loved them and saw nothing poppish to them. Just a great assemblage of musicians that made a significant contribution. The bassist, Mr. Spaulding, I th...
