Jammit

When Jammit first came around, I figured it was just some bogus site that didn't really have actual stems. But after checking out and then buying a bunch of tracks last week, I'm amazed at what is/was available. Unfortunately, after buying 9 tracks and going back to buy more, I see that all of the f...

Re: spring cleaning

How long we been back up? You'll note I've had to re-register to get back in. After a spell in the 'other place' [not the House of Lords] I have certainly missed the character of YesTalk. A few weeks ago I found a way to transfer everything to this software, which has better protection, so I figure...

I increased the size that can be uploaded. I didn't realize there was such a small default size limit.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

spring cleaning

Hi, I came up with a good solution to the spammer problem, so I figured I'd open things up again to have a look back. This is different software, but I was able to port over all the messages and most of the photos. Member avatars didn't make it though. I still have them, but they're not associated w...

Re: Wow where'd everybody go?

I had no trouble logging in and posting. Make sure you're not trying to load an old template along with the page. Yestalk4 is the default theme now.

please vote for me

I know I shouldn't be posting this here, but what the heck. I took a photo at our local corn maze during the summer and the photo is in the finals to win a backyard firepit, which I could really use. Please vote for my photo here: http://www.theclassicrock105.com/CornMaze/CornMaze2008Contest.htm Scr...

Re: Board update

OK, we appreciate your updating of the board, Schaum, thank you. I will get used to the chic black matte interiors There are currently 8 different color styles to choose from, so don't feel you have to use the black theme. Try the purple Magnification theme or one of the other new ones if you're ad...

No problem, you were absolutely right, it was too much of a contrast. I thought it would be easy to just make a few color changes but I had to redo the graphic borders. I may modify it further but at least it's not so glaring now.

Re: Board update

Ok, it's not perfect but it should be easier on the eyes. When I have more time I'll soften the black and even out the color and placement of the thin gray line.

The color is part of the graphics that make up the bubble. I'll have to redo the graphics so it will take a little longer to do.

Re: Next Project...

To get this going again, we'd need enough musicians to cover all the parts. Then we need to pick a tune.

If we get that far, then we'll coordinate the rest.

Re: Board update

Ughhhhhhhhhhhh! Don't like the black background with blue links. This is a Yes site. We need light, not darkness. At the bottom of every page is a dropdown where you can choose from the various styles that are available. Check them all out and then, as yesman mentioned, update your preferences in t...

Ok, I understand what you are saying, but I'm not seeing it here. I get a white vertical bar as my cursor on the message entry screen. But there is more than 1 message editor, I think I'm using the advanced one. I'll look at the others and see if I have that problem. It shouldn't be too hard for me ...

Ok, I changed the background to totally black, let me know if that's better. The post icons and other doodads have to be fixed up to go along with the darker background. Just a little note to remind everyone - each member now has the ability to create their own photo albums on the site so feel free to upload as many pictures as you want.

I tried it out and it seems to be working pretty good.

Re: Board update

Glad you like it. There are now around a half a dozen different colored themes available, including the old green theme that we had for a long time. The changes I've made so far are pretty basic, I'm hoping to add a few graphical themes also. Although the board is running a little faster, I'm not co...

I've made a few changes and additions to the styles. We now have 5 additional styles available which mostly have some minor changes so far. Just a quick update - I added a few new display styles that you can choose from. Right now, they all look the same as the regular green style except you can choose a different background - Tales, 70's, Relayer, Keys in addition to the "Evening" background. I'll change the colors in these styles so t...

How are ticket sales going near you? I've been checking out what's available for the Albany NY show. Those tickets have been on sale for a week and there's still 6th row orchestra available?!?!?!?! Re: At This Moment Part II

LOL Allan Sherman's "My Son, The Folk Singer"~ Anyone heard of him? He's an oooold comedian/singer from like... the late 50s/early 60s- way before my time and almost before my dad's time, but I grew up listening to a lot of his stuff, thankfully. Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah. Why do I know this?!?!?!
