Re: CIRCA:2007 Album Reviews plus general impressions...

The more I listen to this CD, the more I love it. It's strange, but it's always been that way for me with Yes; so it is with Circa:! I remember the first time I heard Close to the Edge, I actually didn't care for the song, except for bits and pieces. But when I started listening closer to the instru...

Re: Picture Music

And You And I has always made me think of a beautiful valley nestled among rolling hills of green and tall rugged mountains beyond. My loved one and I are playfully running along beside a clear blue pond. As the song goes on, I picture different times in our lives together corelating with the lyrics...

Re: A New Musical Direction for Jon

Love Jon, but sometimes he goes too far... needs Chris, Steve, Alan and Rick, (or whoever else may be in the band at the time) to pull him down back to Earth.

Re: CIRCA:2007 CD released / CIRCA: website and store launched

Hi, Billy!

Got my CD ordered and can't wait for it to get here! Of course, I had to get the autographs... lol! I will be tuning in online to hear the Sunday interview; I hope it works for me. How many seats are there in all for your first show?

Re: Chris Squire Says There's A Future For Yes!?

I believe Yes will come together next year - why not? I know the politics in the band are a bummer, but I guess that's one of the negatives to being a Yes fan. One thing you can be sure of; there's always something to keep ourselves wondering about! Whether we are being "used" or not, all I care abo...

I think there is. According to Jon, it's everywhere. Even if you don't see it, it is buried within the hearts of many.

Far right is okay

[:idr] :( Far right and a major Yes fan? Just doesn't seem congruent to me. Yes is always the total opposite of the right wing. [|)] Yeah, there are a lot of us conservative Yes fans. It doesn't mean we disagree with everything Yes stands for. We love peace, nature, and cosmic vibe...

Who knows, maybe Chris was invited to join, but he either refused or had other things going.

I don't know who Jimmy Haun is, but he sounds good. I am excited about it, and can't wait for the album.

*My first concert - 1973 and falling totally in love with YES. *Meeting Jon, Chris, Rick and Steve and shaking their hands (yes, even Steve's!) Jon and Rick walked a long ways to us in the dark and rain. They were SO nice! *Yes playing in the rain in Santa Fe. Poor Steve was getting nervous, but kep...

Can't say I blame Peter for being pissed if what he says is all true. I keep hearing the story about Steve not wanting to share the stage with Peter at the Union concert. I read Steve's response to that and he claimed he knew nothing about Peter joining them at the time. So what's true, we'll never ...

My first Yes concert was Close to the Edge in '73, and that's when I became a huge fan. It was then that I took a great interest in music of all kinds, poetry, literature, and writing. Yes has inspired me creatively and spiritually and have opened my eyes to the beauty of the world. Their positive l...

A couple of favorites for me are The Steve Howe Album and Remedy Elements. If you like Steve's electric sound, you might like Turbulence (Bill Brufford plays drums on that). Skyline is a more mellow, dreamy CD. Natural Timber is excellent for relaxing backgroud music. I guess it all depends on what ...

COULD THIS BE IT?

Found this on Where Are They Now: In a Feb 2007 interview, Anderson spoke of people's desire to see Yes again, but said the band needed a "good reason" to re-group, with the 40th anniversary next year being just that. He anticipates that the band will record new music and a tour beginning spring or ...
