If I recall correctly, weren't there something like 5 different versions of that video. Different suits or backrounds or something...

OK - so let me get this straight: New person comes on Ed's super computoer recognizes the senders computer as one used by an abusive fool who was suspended. Words are exchanged, meanings taken the wrong way, and other members exchange greetings. New member explains they've taken anothers computor fr...

Well said Ed. Thanks for the backround. Previously I, too, was shocked at what seemed like an unprovoked attack from a guy we all knew to be really nice and thoughtful. It's good to know he still is and, on top of that, acts as a sort of "Mother Henn" to protect the coop.

Thanks, again Ed

Ok, as many of you know, I've met all the boys many times and in many venues from my days working in Radio. Every time, Steve was one of the most elusive, though I never found him rude in any way. Jon was the most friendly always actively looking for someone to greet and ready to pose for a picture ...

Ya know, I try to not get too hyped on a new movie - but with all the sparkling reviews and my love, as a kid, for the web slinger, I think I got "Over-hyped". I just was noty blown away the same way that everyone one else has been. I expect to see the new Star Wars this Wed. nite - let 'cha know ho...

You've gotta know your enemy if your going to beat him. Beside's I have learned long ago that the liberal left is full of just as much crap as the conservative right, sometimes more depending on how much you have to lose. And aside from all that I've always found an opposing view to be intresting, i...

Oh, you beat me to it. I had thought of posting a picture of my German Shepard, Wolfie. Ran a test with another shot (in my profile) to see how things translate, first. Can't seem to figure out how to get the shot to magically appear when I post, though.

A tattoo? My how rebeliously conformist of you... Honestly - I agree with most of the above posts. Something that permanent I have never felt was a great idea on top of the fact that everyone has one just means your part of the crowd. The only sort of tattoo that I would have any kind of interest in...

I'm a little behind on this thread...but... on the line of movies to be made. Actually "Stranger in a Strange Land" was done, but not for theatrical release. I believe I saw it on a PBS station. As I recall it was done by a British company - VERY GOOD. Dune (Orriginal movie). From what I've heard fr...

I liked Don't Go from the first time I heard it. Granted, I wasn't all excited about it but I found that it fit well into the corner of the album to be marked as a single on an lp that obviously would not have much in the way of Radio-friendly pieces (cause of the orchestra). Not that this song comp...

Remember during the Yes West years the encore seemed to always be Starship Trooper. That got a little old, also. When I listen to shows from the 70's there seemed to be a lot more Jamming, like Jons band introductions on the Yesshows LP - that kinda stuff is just terrific. It shows off the bands dep...

Yes won a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental for Cinema off 90215. Owner was a Number one hit single. Homeworld was the soundtrack for (I believe) Computor Game Of The Year (or something like that)and the game was based on the song. I think Rick has won more than a handfull of Keyboardist of the Year...

Praise? Well...lets just say it takes some getting used to. Seemed more like an excuse for Jon to do something with his new (at that time) "squeeze". That is quite correct - 9 out of 10 DVD movies have this same momentary freeze as the laser re-focuses. Generally, most producers try to do it in an inconspicuous moment. In a movie it might be done durring a dramatic pause, for example. In a music presentation it might be done during a musical paus...

Great Topic - When I was younger I was a real "Hippy Freak" Ultra - Left, "Can't we all just love each other" kinda guy. As I've gotten older I've learned that I really must listen to others. I reguliarly check out the "Right" guys, the "Left Guys" and the others. One thing I've learned is that ther...

I didn't even know about the auction. From what I gather you've won a trip to the Big Apple to see the boys at Radio City and have a meet & Greet - anything else? I'm starting to think that I'll do both. The compromise maybe that, since I haven't gotten my ticket yet and no one is expecting to go with me - maybe I'll just go alone - that way - AS SOON AS IT"S OVER -I can rush right home with no "Hey how 'bout a diner" offers or long parking-lot recaps. Once there was no more bootlegged shirst being sold in the parking lot. I got out of the shirt buying thing and switched to programs.
