Well, ever since the Atlanta concert 8/13/02 it's been pretty much non-stop Yes for me! I will get stuck on a particular album for a while, then move along to another one. Magnification stays in my portable CD player - it's my walking music! In the car it's been GFTO, and now The Ladder. At work, it...

Hi, Leqin - Just discovered YesTalk recently and this thread. Thanks for sharing the information. I'm disappointed that Yes was only Number 7, but at least they had one in there! Like others who have already posted, what about Thick as a Brick? or Quadrophenia? or Days of Future Passed? Yeskat - I'm...

Well, my score was only 47. But, I would have programmed my cell phone to play Heart of the Sunrise (my favorite Yes tune - BTW) if I had one that did composer. My Nokia model doesn't have it :( Do I get any points for checking out the web site and trying it? And no, don't have any tatoos - not quit...

Tribute - hey, I happen to like Drama! I miss Jon's singing, but musically it's a great album! The mark of a true Yes fan? Well, I think it's when you go to a Yes concert and it's a religious experience leaving you high for days! The love, passion, and energy that flows between the band and the audi...

Well, I'm new to this site, and after reading this thread I'll have to check out the chat room sometime! I have wandered in there a couple of times, to find no one there. But it sounds like things get pretty wild! I'll try again!

My therapy is always Yes music! I don't watch the news - hear quite enough about the war, etc. by seeing headlines and hearing others talk about it. Yes music is always positive and uplifting!

Well, as far as Steve solo works go, Mood for a Day was my first listen, and I still love it! I also agree with Independently Whole and Hammar about Surface Tension and the Vivaldi piece - those are also among my favorites. Favorite pieces with Yes would have to be Turn of the Century, The Ancient, ...

I too saw the Eagles open for Yes in 1972 - the Memphis show. I had seen the Eagles earlier in the summer open for Procol Harum, and was not impressed. Here was a band that had only had one hit at the time (Take It Easy), and they were standing on stage like they were gods or something. Their seemin...

Big Generator was the low point of Yes for me. I first listened to it at my cousin's house, and after hearing it, was so disappointed that I didn't buy it. I did see the tour however, and the songs translated better live. This past year, in an effort to complete my Yes collection, I finally bought B...

Well, I am definitely not a closet Yes fan! I wear my T-shirts proudly, and talk Yes with anyone who will listen! All my friends and family know about my visiting fan sites, and if you ride in my car you will normally hear Yes music! Everyone at work knows if I've been to a concert I'll be high for ...

Chris - my condolences about the loss of your father-in-law. Sounds like you were a real blessing to him. And what am I doing? Well, currently I'm surfing YesTalk! Before that I was surfing YesFans, and responding to e-mail. Before that - I conducted a meeting of our quality assurance group about ou...

Heck, yes! I'd pay a little extra to make sure I get good concert seats! That alone would be worth it. I'm tired of scalpers buying up the good ones. And the "internet presale" on the 2002 tour was a joke - seats were terribly far back. So, yes - ensure me great seats, and I'm there!

Cashew wine? Sounds totally bizarre!

Haven't drunk much wine in recent years, but had the occasion recently to share a bottle with a co-worker. Was Blackstone Merlot - totally smooth. Would go very good with some Yes music, I think!

That's interesting to hear. I'm new to this site, and wondered about the slow response time. Takes a while for things to post.

Well, my ex was a Yes fan - not quite as fanatical as me, but close.

After reading about the successful marriages here with non-Yes fans, maybe that wasn't such a good thing? Who knows!

Oops! Sorry!

I posted twice - didn't mean to!

Not used to the response time on this site yet. Seems to take a while for a post to register - don't know if it's inherent to the site, or just my computer.

Again, my apologies.

Well, I used to work to Yes music - but that stopped because I couldn't keep it turned down low enough. Apparently my speakers have a short in them, and when I turn them down to a tolerable (for everyone else) level, they cut out. And I hate using headphones at my desk because I then can't roll over...

OK, I keep having trouble posting here. Hope this works.

YesJo - thanks for the welcome. If I can get this posting thing down, I'll post often!

I'm told that pics need to be on a web site in order to link here - I'll have to see what I can do.

Like others on this thread, I often hear "Are they still together?" Used to work in a record department in the 70's, and had one customer at the time who denigrated Jon's voice. I was appalled! My sister doesn't care for them. I thought she might like Magnification since it's a little "softer" sound...
