I'll pick up where Haze left off, then:

Just singing, it's what he does . . .

Rick on modern or "classic" keyboards?

LEAD. I mean, not only does he have the sound, the skill and the attitude for it, but also... Let me put it this way: "Schiiindleria Praimatu-u-urus"!!

While we're on the subject of the duality of our friends:

If you've never seen nor heard the band before and someone played the album Magnification! What would be your first thoughts: Does the music of provoke the image of a long-haired, imaginative, colourfully clothed and emotional band? Or a conscious, technically perfected, calculated and perhaps (in that sense) a more closely cropped band?

I know it's kind of a trick question as they are all of the above, but try to lean towards one side or the other, when you answer....

oops, i didn't remember that we were on a new one!

uh, since they play with an orchestra who have to be more precise on magnification i think they come thru as 'a close cropped' band for a beginner.

so,
sunday, a day for tv sports or music?

Not! To a degree that I would probably throw out the TV-set through the window if someone forced me to watch that crap!

You are stranded on a very small island in the middle of an ocean that, for some unknown reason, have electrical power and a decent stereo mounted with a new unknown YES album glued to its turn-table. When you're just about to play the record a ship make its apperance close by: Do you waive the chance of getting rescued in favour of listening to the album probably before anyone else, or do you prefer to 'save your soul' and hope that the album will surface anyway in the stores later?

Me, personally, I'd have to say GFTO. Wasn't that when they started playing 'in the round?'

A hard choice, but I'd have to say CTTE

But, I'd rather go back and see the Tales tour . . . :D

How about you - Tales tour or CTTE tour?

GFTO before CTTE, and CTTE before Tales...

If you had a band and you could cover a song from Yes, which would it be: Roundabout or Parallels?

Parallels.
If you were given the ability, and then the choice, to play drums or keyboards with Yes*, which would you choose?

Well, since I basically suck at playing keyboards, drums. If I put my mind to it, I'm sure I can blend the styles of Bill and Alan.

Which leads me to...

Bill or Alan?

ARGH. This is very HARD, because obviously they both excel in different areas. Ultimately, I would have to say Alan. I love Bill's intricacies, but just another listen of tracks like Miracle of Life, The Calling, Endless Dream, Mind Drive, etc. confirms that Mr. White really is a powerhouse, which I think I prefer only slightly more.Endless Dream or Mind Drive?

Well, since no one is answering this: Probably piano.

Vocals:
Jon, Chris, Steve
or
Jon, Chris, Trevor?

Hearts I think but it's a close call . . .

Best line for imagery from a fabulous song . . .

Cold Summer Listening

or

Hot colour melting the anger to stone

Which one causes you to "dream there"?

Hot colour, etc.

In the same vein: Which song inspires more imagery for you, Roundabout or South Side of the Sky?

Roundabout

If Yes and DT wind up playing a few songs in tandem on the upcoming tour, would rather hear them do Perpetual Change or Sound Chaser?
