Jasper and the Prodigal Suns

I picked up their CD in the bargain bin, I forget the name of it, but it is an incredible mix of Jazz, Reggae, EasyRap and Prog. Almost every song is a keeper. There is one guy that only plays sax, similar to Coltrane. There is one guy that plays drums with lots of steel drumming. Two guitarists and a bass. One of the guitarists is lead vocals, rap/rhyming like Ani de Franco, mainly if not exclusively about Rastafari religion. It is blowing my mind, like no other music I've heard in a long time(outside of Yes). I'm gong to the bin again tomorrow to see if I can find anymore for Xmas presents.

<hr>Celebrate the moment, as it turns into one more.
