They are all over the place, a 5, a 6.5, a 7 and a 9!!

As for me, it's NOT as good as either Black Holes and Revelations or Absolution. But I still like it, for reasons stated elsewhere. Personally, I'd give it 7.5.

I like it a lot. It's growing on me and the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I really love the opening track and first single, "Arising." It kinda reminds of "Rock N' Roll (Part II)" and the theme to "Doctor Who." I believe the instrumentation has greatly improved with this band, considering the fact that they're a 3-piece.
