The Machine

I had a wonderful experience on Sunday night seeing the Pink Floyd cover band The Machine.
They had an incredible light show to compliment what I considered to be a dead on replica of Pink Floyd's catalog. Mind you I'm not suggesting it was like listening to the record note for note but rather the live Floyd experience was replicated very well. Plenty of opportunities for the band to "stretch" and take the music where it needed to go without being a Grateful Dead experience (if you know what I mean). Tremendous musicians, I wish these guys the best and hopefully they will find an audience that will support their efforts to bring Pink Floyd music to those who never had the opportunity to see the band in they "hey day" or simply to entertain an "old fart" like myself who just loves to spend an evening chillin' out to Floyd!

Sounds like fun!

I had the pleasure of seeing Pink Floyd once for REAL, back in 1975, I believe . . . their stage show was mind-blowing, and would lend itself well to a tribute band.
