OK, if anyone's ready to jump on board, I OFFICIALLY VOLUNTEER to steer this ship. I say, LET'S DO IT!
I don't think the MIDI previously suggested is accurate enough - though I appreciate how hard it is to find a good one of To Be Over. Unless someone comes up with a better one, let's make the official one
http://RobertNasir.com/yes/tobeover.mid Please let me know ASAP if you have a seriously disagreement with with this.
Now, who's the official mixer we're to send our pieces to? topographicguitarist86: are you still on? If so, speak up! If not, what happened to our original enginner? If he's not up for it, I'll volunteer. I'll check back by Friday Aug 29 (since I can't contact topographicguitarist86, as he didn't include an e-mail address in his profile).
If no one else raises their hand, then I'll handle the engineering.
So who wants to play what?
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES! Please record your parts, using the MIDI as a time generator, but as WAV or MP3 without the MIDI sounds for the Virtual Band To Be Over Mix. Send to
Yes@RobertNasir.com. If your files are over 10MB, please send me a seperate message to indicate you've sent them (so I know to get in touch with you in case anything oversized bounces). If topographicguitarist86 or anyone else says, "hey, you can't take over, that's my job," I'll gladly give up the helm - otherwise, I'm proud to be your humble engineer, and will do my best to make (as Jon Anderson says,) all the pieces fit together.
