I know I'm oweing this for a long time.
Okay, I'm Brazilian (duh, doesn't everybody know that?), 15-year-old. Started liking Yes in 1999, I think. Since then, Steve and all have turned my life upside down. I was really confused what to do in college, and thought that I'd do archicteture or anything like that.
(Little break: no offense, but I'd never try to do Medicine, Law or Engineering (spelling?), because everybody do that... and the results after college aren't that great, this is like guitars, I will never play a Fender Stratocaster or a Gibson Les Paul, or a Takamine acoustic guitar, everybody do that, we have to do something new)
Now I'm planning to do Classical (Acoustic) Guitar and I'm studying very hard to achieve it. I have a lot of theory inside my head (a lot, for somebody who never took classes, is a lot), but I've got no speed at all, okay some... but I'm planning on doing plenty of chromatic exercises this summer. Something around 2,5-3 hours/day.
I've joined YesTalk in the end of the last year, so I must be completing one year here. I think it was Nov 22nd, or 23rd, can't remember. I like this forum very much. None of the others I've registered so far got so friendly.
I think my nomination to the Yessongs forum came from Seryn (okay, it could be you, Ed, but Seryn might have been the one). I really was into trying to play all those *weird* stuff I hear from Steve... and so it was the perfect chance, and I accepted that.
And hey Entoo, thank you for the dream interpretation, and where's your reply? <img src=pix/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Poodeeo, yeah, i'm Aquarius too, but I don't know my rising sign.
Well, I think this is it.
