A lifelong Yes fan of course , 46 years old and living in south east UK near Gatwick Airport. Ex pro drummer many years ago , now drum for fun and a few quid now and then...

Anyway , back to the topic in question...as I post my first message I am listening to possibly one of the finest live albums ever made (in my humble opinion of course!) and that is JETHRO TULL'S incredible double live album "BURSTING OUT"
Just bought it again on iTunes having originally worn out the vinyl !
What a joyous piece of work it is.
Kind of makes me wanna dance around the house like an idiot :)

good to be here at last

Welcome, welcome welcome to avebury49 and resonator57. This must be UK airport awareness week or something! Stansted, Gatwick - anyone from Heathrow too? :)

Anyway, welcome to the board. Great to have new members - post often. As a musician myself I'd love to hear more from you both about your passion. Please visit the Yes Musicians forum when you've a moment.

Currently I am listening to Close to the Edge. it's not a bad tune now is it.

Clem is in the house all right, and he is eating all your cheese while you're not looking. So watch him - he's well dodgy. :)

You have to figure that something not-so-good is happening with the music if the musicians, mm, feel they have to attempt to look, uh..."sexy"...on the album cover, presumably to sell their music. Yipes. They were all much sexier behind their instruments. :)

I am not going to make any comment about Keith Emerson's, erm, protuberance.

"Remind Me" by Royksopp...
Dammit, it's the freakin song from that one Geico commercial when the caveman's going down the moving sidewalk @ the airport and sees the offensive Geico add and gets all upset... hahaha omg I love it. But still, getting that song stuck in my head wasn't very nice, and I eventually broke down and downloaded it... It's pretty! (Did I mention how much I adore Geico's advertising strategies? By far best/funniest commercials on air, and have been for a long time.)
