Missed this thread first go round . . . bummer . . .

1969 was SUCH a pivotal year . . .

I heard an interview with one of the Woodstock organizers (sorry - don't recall which now) saying there would be a NEW director's cut of the movie released this year with previously unreleased performances.

He said he was asked by some of the performers why their sets weren't ever released. His response was that some of the performers were SO drugged up that their performances were just really, really bad . . . lol . . . I'm glad there were so many GOOD performances recorded for the ages.
