actually there is a little singing (ahem) towards the end of the song... maybe singing isn't the right word?

Sounds like a version of Heart of the Sunrise that belongs on Larks' Tongue in Aspic.

I like it, so sue me!

For some reason, this gets covered a bit . . .

I've heard that Guided By Voices, the low-fi indie rock band, has been know to cover this live. The leader, Robert Pollard, is a Yes fan, about the same age as I am--love to hear a boot of it . . .

Victor Wooten, of Bela Fleck's band, throws in a few bass "quotes" during his solo spots--I think I was the only person who cheered that when I saw them . ..

And the point is??

There is some almost fine bass playing, though not not like Chris by any means. Short of that, I'd have to give it a definite F+...and that's being liberal in my way of thinking.
