Photo signed by Jon and Rick

Postby thehallway » Sat Jan 02, 2010 10:00 pm

I've acquired a photograph of Jon and Rick, which they've both signed :) . Its one of about five that were done like this, framed and everything. My brother got me it for Christmas.

I wanted to know though, if Jon's signature is actually genuine. Iv'e looked up Rick's and it seems fine, but I can't find an example of Jon's signature anywhere on the net. I figured someone on this forum would have one to compare??

When Jon signed t-shirts at a solo concert, the sig just looked like a big loopy J with a squiggle . . .

Yeah, looks pretty much like the sig on my t-shirt . . . I'll try to scan it soon and post.

cool

It's different on the interior artwork of The Ladder though isn't it? That track chart with everybody's signature on it has a little drawing and the word Jon as opposed to the circley thing

When Jon signed my copy of GFTO I thought he was putting me on, as he merely drew a spiral looking figure But I learned later that is the way his autograph looks like, so most likely your signed photo is genuine.

I would imagine his sig varies according to the circumstances under which it was produced. When he's massively signing t-shirts, etc. for hours at a time, he probably resorts to just that squiggly J thing . . . ;)
