Magnification & 2 US tours

Great news from http://www.bondegezou.demon.co.uk/wnyesm.htm#yes about the new album Magnification, and that Yes is planning a second US tour in early 2002. Good news for us Texans. Also, it appears the 1st US tour will have the Masterworks setlist, with a few new songs, 2.5 hours long!! And a different setlist for the second leg. God love these guys.

Long live this band!!

we have heaven

For those people who don't want to know the setlist, I'm glad to say that I think poodeeo misread the news. The setlist is not indicated, as I see it. The news about Masterworks is that a CD of the Masterworks tour will probably be available before the Magnification CD is released.

poodeeo,
This is very interesting news for me, however, there is a bunch of people who do not want to know what the setlist is. It has been suggested that we talk about the setlist in the Yes Concerts Forum.

WOW! I am very excited about this since they aren't coming to New Mexico this summer! I am also hoping the album will be released end of July instead of Sept.
Magnification -- what a name! I can't wait!!!

"The band are planning to play some of the new album live. In an interview in Apr, Groupé said the show would be 2.5 hours long, consisting of classic Yes songs accompanied by orchestra and that, "We might do a couple of the new songs." He also strongly implied that one of the old songs played will be [SPOILERS—highlight to read] "Roundabout", while Squire has said that "Homeworld" is a possibility, but that there will not be any solo material. Squire has also said that the set will initially be similiar to that for the Masterworks tour, but will change as it goes on, with different songs for the second North American leg. "
