Simon, if the March 2002 issue of Computer Buyer is still on sale, you get a free CD with McAfee Quick Clean (amongst other stuff) which lets you choose what to clear from your Cache and cookies.

Or just find your cookies in "My Computer", wherever they may be. (I'm with Win 98, they're on disc C, in the folder "Windows")

I suspect that my votes might not have been registered - delete the "questionmarket" cookie too - this WILL help!

Someone else is doing the same thing we are, deleting their cookies. I am having problems with this, maybe because I'm on cable internet, or maybe because I have Windows ME? I'm not sure, but even after I delete my cookies, it still tells me I have voted for today.

I don't even KNOW what the cover of Rio LOOKS like! Any good? Just curious! When's the deadline, anyway? It looks like Tales WILL win...

They have pictures of all the album covers if you really want to see them ... Rio is just a drawing of a woman's face and (to me) has kind of a retro look to it. Nothing anywhere near as good as anything Roger Dean is capable of doing!

That's the link to the competition's cover. Like I said previously, I'm a certifiable Duranie, but they're not even fit to carry Steve's guitar cases. And this cover isn't fit to be in Roger Dean's wastebasket!!!

THAT was number one?? Yikes! How plain and boring! I could think of HUNDREDS of covers that are better than that!
Must've been those damn Duran Duran fans, trying to stuff the ballot box just like we are!

One question though. After Yes wins, of course, what happens? We just win or what?

Duh! All the silly people who voted for moronic album covers will be forced to bow down before our feet and swear eternal loyalty, or something like that.

The result makes it into the newspapers, and of course Rolling Stone.
People read it and think "Wow - Yes! I'd forgotten about them - must play some of their music again." Subsequently masses of folks go and update their vinyl for CDs, and the band gets popular again!!!

It's also now up on the front page at Yesworld, so even the band are into this!

They also mention the release dates for the AMsterdam DVD which are;

US April 2nd
Europe May 13th

I assume the dates are different so that the massive Yes publicity machine can focus on each geography in turn rather than trying to split him in two!

Yeah, I don't know what is so great about the Rio cover! Guess I'd have to see it in person!

If YES wins, Rolling Stone should hold a special award ceremony and give them a trophy, and swear them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- long overdue!

I don't usually do this type of thing, but to fit in a little and make all of you happy, I cast the Tales vote. It was tough when I saw Dark Side of the Moon and Rumors on the list. Now if they only had a strangest category, it'd be In the Court of the Crimson King, hands down.

I have to admit, "Dark Side" is VERY tempting as a vote (I saw it on the list, too)... but the Tales cover is just beautiful! Such wonderful colors! The PF cover is really neat, too, but more for its 'strangeness' value (as in, what the heck does it have to do with the album?), whereas Topographic is legitimately a really pretty cover!

WE HAVE FALLEN BEHIND!
GET VOTING!!!!

It's current Ducrap Ducrap with 2036

Tales with 1926!!!

I know that this hasn't exactly been a fair fight but there is no way in the world that Rio deserves to win this.

Man the Guns!
