What about that head on the back of the Mag Sleeve? I know this isn't as indepth as the cover analysis, but I think I've noticed something. The head, although void of hair, appears to be a woman. I wondered who this was in real life. And then just today I was looking at the videos at Yesman's Yesmuseum, and there is a video clip of Deborah Anderson on E!. Just who is this Deborah Anderson, and what ties does she have with Yes? Since the video clip doesn't mention Yes, I wonder if she's a daughter of Jon's (I'm starting to feel like the Master of the Obvious). Still I've never heard of her, and I thought they would mention that fact.

My point is, the still shot that you click on to see the video looks just like the head on the Mag sleeve. Features such as the nose: slightly pointed, yet delicately rounded on the tip. The soft round upper eyelid, with those long curled eyelashes, and the high eyebrows (which seem to be manufactured, as many women seem to do nowadays-pluck!). Perhaps I'm just psycho. If so, who are these two people??

When the artwork was first available, I said that I thought it might be Jane.

Someone else answered and said that Bob posted something on the newsgroups saying that the head was entirely computer generated.

There's a whole story about Jon and his relationship with his kids on the Divine Mother site.

I don't remember all the details, but it might be Deborah who is the subject of Soft as a Dove.

I'm not really up on the side info about the band..wives, etc., so I might be completely wrong about which one is which. You can be sure someone will straighten me out post haste though.

Deborah is Jon's oldest daughter. I have a good picture of her performing on the Deseo tour if anyone wants to compare.

Yes, Bob answered the question and said it was a computer generated head, nicknamed the Shamen.

I would hate to have this thread drop off the board. I feel certain there is a puzzle to be solved from the various clues, perhaps with a secret web site waiting to be discovered as the prize.

I have just been so busy at work these days that I haven't had the time to engage in any serious analysis.

I think Jon's story about the IDR holds many clues. Maybe I can analyze that part sometime this weekend, since it doesn't appear that anybody has followed up on that clue.
