Nice Garden Decorations

Nice Garden Decorations

Postby Yesquire » Sat Apr 20, 2002 12:17 am

First, go here and check this out:

http://yesworld.com/old_sets.html

Have any of our British members ever made the pilgrimage? What kind of condition is this stuff in?

I would love to put it in my backyard (as if the owner would ever part with it...or my wife would allow me do it).

Ken W. Kalls, looking for landscaping ideas.

Ken,

Colin is a member here, hopefully he'll see this and give some comments.

I'm pretty sure that at least one or two other people from YT have gone there and seen the stuff in person.

Hi Ed:

Any way you can correct the typo in the subject heading to "Garden"? Or am I going to have to live with my error until the thread drops off from view?

Hey Colin! Tell us about your treasure. Give us photos. The ones on Yesworld are way too small.

Now I've got myself replying to myself.

Ken, you doofus, the little pictures are clickable, and open up in a new window as much bigger ones.

So Colin, we already have nice pictures. A few new ones would still be great, though.

how cool would it be to have a yes/dean garden. i think if i had the money i´d have roger dean design my house since he has architectural skills. if, no when, that happens you´re all invited for a party!

Ken I had the pleasure of going to see Colin's garden after The Proffet told me about it, and when I discovered that it's just fifteen miles down the road you can imagine my delight. I now think I could call colin a friend (thanks to yestalk for that).

He not only has the garden, his house is a yes shrine, I mean when you have a 8x4 poster from a yes concert in Moscow in your dining room your entitled to call yourself a true Yeshead.

He's easy to find (how many of us has a YES logo on the front of our house).

I'll give him a call and perhaps he'll leave a message.

Thanks for the replies, Colin. Glad to hear the stuff is holding up well. The new pics would be appreciated by us all, I am sure, but do so at your convenience.

Without a doubt the best time to view it.........now if I could only figure out how I can get it out of colin's garden without him noticing.
