Ooh! Do I get to post first!

I'm currently at work - taking a break from a flowchart I was working on detailing our work request process.

Need to put on some music since my cube mates aren't around right now!

I've been making and addressing my daughter's 7th birthday invitations, and helping with homework. I'm currently addicted to Song of Seven, I can't get it out of my head, and can't stop listening.

Tvm. Me and my girlfriend just came back from an extended weekend in Stockholm. We started off, on Thursday evening, with an absolutely wonderful concert: Dream Theater - three extraordinary hours of progressive metal music, that kinda set the pace for the weekend!! Then we visited Stockholm's big Motorcycle Fair - that had us captivated for a day and a half. We're definitly partial to the Ducati bikes! However, having said that; Buell and Triumph had a few...

TVM, I'm listening to a CD I bought on Friday. Journey - "Look Into The Future" and it really kicks ass. Also I'm trying to download a song from Van Der Graaf Generator called Sleepwalkers. I heard the first few minutes of the song and I liked it very much. I don't have any of their albums yet. Looking forward to getting some. I'm also looking forward to seeing Yes on the Carig Kilborn show tuesday night.

TVM: I'm on my 3rd glass of white merlot and I'm rather "pissed" as our British friends would say. Feels good! LOL My son is at a friend's house, so I have some privacy and freedom tonight. I'm enjoying posting here, and listening/watching some video I have of various prog bands, which my dear friend in Chile put together for me. Currently playing is Genesis - Domino.

Did I say "life is good" less than a week ago? I suppose it still is, but today has been very challenging. I'm still at work - will be here for a while longer. Listening to Porcupine Tree - Up the Down Stair - have a headache, and dreading a conversation that I need to have with my ex later.

But, after that, I may have a glass of white merlot and settle down with some of my favorite music and join you folks in chat!

It`s been a while since Ihave posted regularly here. Lots of new faces. Well, where do I begin??? Life has been a roller coaster for yours truly in the past year. Some highs and disappointing lows. But It`s good to be posting here once again and I have turned over a new leaf, one that is devoid of ranting and raving.
Are you kidding?? that`s like asking Lassie not to take a shit
But.. I hope everyone here is doing well and while I will be around sporadically, Ill contribute from time to time. Besides, I have to get my trooper status one day

TVM I'm doing laundry and trying to get my son packed up for a school trip tomorrow - they're going to a state park for 3 days. Also watching a feature about Epcot on the Food Channel, and waiting for a download to finish that a friend's sending me. A diverse night!

Quite wrong

I'm relishing how cruel football can be. Sorry my friend but we've been suckered so often this season that to get one back particularly against City like that was simply amazing, I've been beaming all the way home.

You guys are still in there though so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you now.

TVM: I'm eating some enchilada casserole that I made for dinner, drinking a glass of white merlot, and trying to relax from a very hectic day. I have a storage pod that I put my parents' stuff in after they passed away, so that I could work on the house and move MY stuff in, since I inherited the house. So, my sister and I had FINALLY cleaned out enough stuff from the basement, mostly trash, so that I could move the pod contents there. All that remains is to call Salvation Army Monday to come get a few furniture pieces, and then the pod can go! Hooray!!!!
