thanks for the warm welcome, happy to see you here too. That sounds way cool what you are doing with you're drawings. It seems to be pretty quiet in these hallowed halls at the moment. Test for echo: hello--hello--hello--hello-helloooo. Yep, pretty quiet. (notice the two Rush references I used there...

I managed to find an incredible bootleg dvd of the R30 tour at radio city music hall, from a free trading community. That is the best live Rush concert video I have ever seen. I have all their official releases as well. I would even say this show is better than the Rush in Rio dvd, and tht RIR is gr...

It's been such a long Time!
Wait a minute, thats a Boston song. Hi everyone. I havn't been around these parts for quite a while. I just wanted to say hi and I havn't forgot about you all. Life happens and I just don't get alot of time on the computer. There also hasn't been a whole lot going on with Yes lately. I sure hope the...

I personally feel that Yes would not be the same without Jon Anderson, His influence has made Yes the kind of band that gives that mystical, colorful feel to the music. Not to mention his sense of melody and unique vocals is a big part of Yes' sound. I really hope Jon is in the next recording effort...

Maybee because I mentioned Trevor Rabin (which is not real popular on this board of classic Yes-heads) is the reason nobody has replied to this topic yet? I would be more than happy with a new release with the current classic line-up though. I will have to say that Mr. Rabin has been a strong link i...

Well, but for someone who does not care for pure metal, like massos (and me), it is hardly the place to start with DT. This may sound wierd, if the music is good with real talent, I don't classify it as pure metal, hard rock etc, etc. I just look at it as well written music, "if it's good, it's goo...

Many thanks for the sugestions. Christmass is not too far away so I think I'll drop some hints about the new live DVD. In the meantime "6 degrees.." sounds a great next stop as well as "Images...". To be honest I am still getting me head around Metropolis 2...simply amazing. What are "The Liquid Te...

I hope Yes makes a new Album!
With the current line-up, I really hope they don't brush off making a new studio album. Magnification is a great release, but I don't think it is the right album to cap off their catalogue. Just one more with Rick Wakeman, Please!! I would also love to see Trevor Rabin included with Wakeman but I kn...

[quote="yesireebob"] Track 1 is just ok, kind of Metallica-ish. Tracks 2 and 4, especially 4, are tracks that I just skip over. Too Pantera. But IMHO, the last 3 tracks make up for the unlistenable tracks. Track 4 "Honor Thy Father" is actually very good!! The intro and the opening riffs are bad-ass...

They can definately play anything live and then some. The new Live at Budokan dvd is incredible. Their new album "Train Of Thought" is fantastic. They took a heavy direction on most of the tracks, but they are brilliant!! I agree with tardistraveler about "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance", it is a g...

Dream Theater Live at Budokan dvd
This dvd kicks major you know what!! This is one stellar performance of a Dream Theater concert filmed in 2004 at the Budokan in Tokyo. The show was filmed in front of a crowd of 10,000+, and is a flawless show with some great surprises. I highly recommend this dvd, it pretty much sums up what DT is...

Yep, I've mentioned several times here about Endless Dream. I would have to say, it is to this day the most moving song I have ever seen played at a concert!! I saw them play it at the Gorge amphitheater with a spectacular sunset during that song. Everyone there was mesmorized. Endless Dream is easi...
