AGP is down

For a long time the staff at AGP has thought of YT as a sister site where our members are welcome. We are currently experiencing some site difficulties and are offline. As of the moment, we have no ETA, but hope to update everyone soon. In the meantime, I'm happy to have this site where we can keep ...

Re: Emerson, Lake & Palmer

I adored ELP in their heyday...now having said that, and noting that I was keys woman growing up, ahem... I have a big problem with Black Moon. Never bought it, but I've heard some of the tracks. Had a huge problem with Lake's voice on this release, from what I understand was due to alleged substanc...

What about that awful Celine Dion thing . . . My Heart Will Go On . . . (and on . . . and on . . . why won't it end!) Linda and I had a great time in Chicago this weekend thinking of wretched songs . . . lol . . . :D You two haven't even touched the tip of all the wretched songs we talked about ove...

I thought I would resurrect this thread as it is the remnants of what would have been..... I just spent a wonderful time hosting Yessirreebob and Tardistraveler among others for the Lost Yes Concert weekend. I have a number of photos which I intend to post and share with you, but I need to get back ...

Oops, I missed something :) ...... Arlene, NOTHING I said in that post, was directly related to you the money inferance was actually pointing to Nardelli as well as somebody else, and was merely countering the hero worship thing. I have no heros, at least not in the entertainment industry. In the e...

Ahhhhh, Chris, I was wondering when you were going to post about the Milwaukee show. About the "happy" Neil, Milwaukee got a show where Neil decided to turn up the corners of his mouth. I've seen 7 Rush shows over the past two years, and the only other time he did that was in Cincinnati last Septemb...

Re: What about RUSH?

Rush continues to be a major draw. There has to be a good reason. The good reason is that this is a band that does everything right. They don't fight with each other-at least visibly where the fan base is concerned. They have been well managed throughout their career. The one drawback is that they ...

I use my Ipod primarily for working out. I need music to run on the treadmill or use the elliptical cross-trainer. But as a few others have observed, they're also great for travelling. I have some travel speakers, which my sn has absconded with, which I can pack in my suitcase. It's wonderful to tak...

Re: Who Do You Fancy Now For Euro 2008?

In the wake of the abject failure of Portugal and the Netherlands - both of the 'pure' football flair teams (IMO), it now comes down to a poor selection of less attractive footballing nations. Germany? Nope, boring football, over-achievers who don't inspire me. Russia? Maybe, I thoguht they played ...

Re: What about RUSH?

Geddy's voice went to the lower registers ( just a bit) over time. I love RUSH. One of best concerts just from the sheer emotion and feed back form the fans, and the bands playing which is always spot on while being emotional at the same time. The most recent I saw them was at Madison Square Garden...

Re: Invite to the Yes Chat (Thursday's)

Well it's a different thing really. I remember another Yes discussion board looking to get their chat going to no avail. The appealing thing about the DA or any prog rock radio chat is that there is music to discuss, with a live DJ interacting, giving Yes news, making comments and playing requests....

The princes also happened to be Elizabeth of York's brothers. Now Elizabeth of York was Henry VII's wife. One of the reasons why she was offered to Henry Tudor to be his wife was to help end the War of the Roses. Much historical fact does point to Richard III, or one of his ministers, as the boys' e...

I have one major problem with Rush and that is Geddy Lee’s voice: it really grates on me! Saying that, I absolutely love Xanadu, which is one of my all time favourite songs. Spirit of the radio was a fantastic single as well. What Rush would you recommend to me to get over my Geddy phobia? Any You ...
