i would choose Lark's tougues in aspic! great Crimson album, heavy, experimental and atmospheric. john singin is almost hypnotic, the crazy improvisations and guitar riffs of fripp is at it's best shape and bruford shows what he's made of on that classic tune "the talking drum"! timeless masterpiece...

Yeah! Really groovy!Almost funky guitar sound, Steve has great moments on this album. totally! they were in fact trying to show a consept or a message as you said. Yes has a philosofical deep connection with music and life, so their albums are like 'books' trying to show a new idea a new sound. I also think yes has a great deal of connection with nature, nature is constantly a theme....
