Re: Are Britons miserable?

Britons are not miserable. We are the most self-assured, self-confident and happiest as well as the most intelligent, best-looking and sexiest people on earth. We have the best teeth of any nation, developed or non-developed. British males are the world's finest lovers. We are also the world's bigge...

Re: Monday Evening Chat

I hope Amy behaved herself when after I (eventually) let her out of my closet.

Contrary to what TBC says, I had to keep her under control. She's a handful, that one, but I managed to fight her off. :D

Re: So, Who Are You?

RL, 1) Rugby union and cricket: two sports that are only slightly less incomprehensible to those who play them than to those who don't. I (think I) promised to explain the rules of cricket to Ms TBC and this exciting offer is extended to you too. On the other hand, the rules of rugby union are almos...

Re: Your favorite underrated gem of an album?

The record that is widely considered to be the runt in Tangerine Dream's litter (before they finally became terminally bad in the 1990s, that is) is Cyclone. I love this record: it owes a little too much to Floyd and Eloy's Ocean but it's still unmistakably TD and very moody, creepy, very Cold-War-B...

Re: What are you listening to when you log in here?

Ahhhh!! No! No! Make it STOP!! You have to figure that something not-so-good is happening with the music if the musicians, mm, feel they have to attempt to look, uh..."sexy"...on the album cover, presumably to sell their music. Yipes. They were all much sexier behind their instruments. I am not goi...
