I have the Santiago Chile DVD on a boot and it's very good. I didn't much like Talk (the album), but the tour was one of the band's best IMHO.

MONKEY FUNCH MYSPACE UPDATE

Hi guys, I've been off the reservation since the start of this year for reasons I don't need to go into, but thought I'd like to let you know that our demo tracks are up on myspace (see link) and we hope to start booking gigs ASAP. The demo's a bit rough round the edges and was done really quickly. ...

Re: The Gates of Delirium !!!Rediscovering RElayer

This is my absolute favorite Yessong. It sums up everything that's so great about them: the playing the vocals, the sheer complexity (especially the battle sequence, holy shit!!!), the power, the virtuosity in everyone. I love this song and will never tire of it. It's power and beauty, especially w...

Re: Yes /Asia summer tour, USA

On more than one occasion I drove from VA Beach, VA to Boston MA to see them - 10 hours each way. And, it was WELL worth it! That being said, without Jon? Don't know that I'd do it. Here's hoping I can afford it this year... right now, I'm facing a lay-off and I haven't gotten a concrete offer for ...

seYes were booked for that place in Frome near you (The Cheese & Grain isn't it), but somethingh went screwy with the venue, and I think Chris was hoping to play Mr Kyps in Poole at some point. No argument here. I really don't much like Mag. Never did. BIG disapoointment when I first heard it.

There was a time when I played ITPO over and over but even that's no proved to be a stayer.

In a radio interview February 14 Alan White said Yes would be playing open air dates in the summer with Asia opening.

Now, according to the Yes - where are they now! website John Wetton has confirmed plans for a joint tour with Yes in "early" 2009 .

Yep - they did play it live on that tour. In fact they used to open the show with it.

How cool was that.

Geez I wish I'd been there, but in 1973/4 I was still listening to Mud, Slade, The Osmonds and suchlike :(

I was only six mind you.

Thanks !! The whole record took about 6 months to produce. With the benefit of playing live gigs we discovered what we really we're. That tends to happen when you play live, you see what works and how it works. That said this new record is much more about "one man one part", of course there are add...

Great voice. Have you ever done busking? Wonder if it be better just acoustic or with some type of small battery-powered amp. Deffo the small amp route for you I think. Most buskers I see in the regional cities where I tend to go opt for them. I've done some busking (eg Sidmouth FOlk Festival http:...

Fiddlin' w/ the idea of going to Europe again this spring, with my guitar. Since I was about 16, I always fantasized about being a true wandering minstral.
