Re: Poetas

The following is a nice little poem my sister has on one of her t-shirts. To A Girl’s Ear <O :p </O :p Didn’t want Didn’t want To tell you anything. I saw in your eyes Two little crazy trees Breezy, giggly, precious They were twisting. Didn’t want Didn’t want To tell you anything. <O :p </O :p Fede...

Re: Poetas

Thank you for posting such passionate poem. If I'm not mistaken this is about domestic violance "I gave commands; Then all smiles stopped together" Ouch. I'd love to read this poem at a poetry reading, starting very polite, then get insane, and then come back to polite upper class behavior. That'd s...

Re: Poetas

Really liked the last one but the other two were effective too, and very thoughtful. You'll have to ask someone more intelligent for an interpretation though... :p OK, the first one is about evolution and the end of our planet. I had to change the ending of it after I learned about the new theory f...

Re: Poetas

The Prize

Facing sin in the eyes
I heard two girls making out
Through the airwaves tickling my ears
Their moaning stimulating
The DJ asking for more
And by the time I turned a corner
They won a prize.

Re: Poetas

Silent Leaves A bird rests And sits on a branch Going across both sides Of the long, long wall It looks in every direction Not knowing where it is And flies again against the wind Looking for another place to land In the vast empty space many call home. The bird, at night, can hear the leaves fall ...

Poetas

I wrote a poem in a different forum and Tardistraveller suggested I start a poetry thread here in Other Skylines. I hope everyone who reads this has a few poems to contribute. The following poem is the only one I ever managed to get published so I thought it be a good way to start the thread. I hope...

You should do one on the current Yes situation... or something
LOL! Well, actually, that's exactly what that poem is about. Read it again with that in mind. The last line is in reference to an Anderson/Vangelis song.

All those years of vegetarian eating must give him lots of energy! Plus, he just seems to truly LOVE what he does - I get the impression he'd rather be playing the guitar than most anything else! A professional through and through, and if he keeps that good health going he'll probably play live unt...
