Re: Yessong of the Week: The Remembering...

Probably my favourite Yes track. So peaceful.
I like the slow parts as well. Kind of quiet before the storm.
Very meditative.

And the bass is superb. Just watch this:

I've heard that Yesmuseum is putting lots of these clips out there - very cool! Does anyone know a way to download from YouTube? Or can you only watch them out there? Hey, Nashville ramblers, are you doing fine? I've also noticed a lot from Yesmuseum on Youtube. And there's obviously stuff from exi...

I'd love to get hold of that DVD. In the meantime I enjoy all the clippings posted on Youtube.com. (Just type genesis gabriel in the search field).
There's also lots of marvelous Yes footage too.

I am new on this forum and i wonder, how many people believe, that Wakeman is a good composer. I think his first albums, Six Wives, Journey, King Arthur, No Earthly Connection shows he is quite a good composer. And he has done a lot, esp. on Fragile, that he never was credited for due to contract a...

A reunion would be awesome even if they only did old Genesis numbers. But even more exciting if they made some new stuff to go with the reunion. Or maybe Genesis versions of solo material ...
Yes allways has at least som relatively new material to present, which I think is very nice.

This is all very well, but what I hope for the most is that they go into the studio, so that they have NEW material to present as well. Looking back has never been Peter Gabriels idea of a good time, he's allways been the one to look ahead.

The Kinks were a geat band. IMO one of the bands that fight for 'second best' spot after the Beatles in the 90s. I also love a lot of what they did in the 70s. Brit pop bands were just a pale imitation. Ray Davis is one of THE greatest songwriters ever, and Waterloo Sunset may be my favourite single...

PFM were a great band, no doubt about it. But let's be a bit more up-to-date: Kaizers Orchestra. They've got three albums out, their latest Maestro is probably just as g...
