I don't know the value of the Pound/Dollar, but don't look forward to it, Chris. It takes years to get used to, and where they can, they take advantage of it Latest news here is that they will try to make new CDs 10 and DVDs 20. That means the CDs are around the same price as LPs were at the end of ...

1. Rush - Permanent Waves (1980) The first album of the decade (released officially January 1st 1980) may also be the best. My No.1 album by my No.1 band. Every song is a big classic, and though the album is a bit short, it is perfect. Favs: Natural science, Jacob's Ladder, Freewill, Different strin...

A friend of mine (wich I later formed my first band with and played lots of Nirvana covers) was into Nirvana already and he played some...

It's one of my least fav Yes albums (along with OYE), but there are some moments. Holy Lamb is a great song, but as said, ends way to early and for me the other highlight is Final Eyes. SHAL is also a YesWest classic in my book. But thats really all there is. I don't particularly like the more 'comm...

Doc, you must mean http://www.progarchives.com, right?
That is a most excellent site indeed. I recommend everyone to check it out, you can download complete tracks from a lot of bands.

I read a review of Yes at the Arrow Rock festival here in Holland, wich said (on the YesWest tracks :) Steve Howe is still Steve Howe and not Trevor Rabin. I wasn't there myself, but I can understand what he/she ment. If they plan on playing more YesWest (rock-)songs, (Changes/The Calling etc.) they...

Well, it's my 2nd fav. after CTTE. There is no such thing as a weak moment on this one. Every track is a 100% classic. 2 acoustic-like songs, 2 rock-out songs and the spectacular epic Awaken, specially the 2nd part of this song (from the harp section onwards) is extremely good. A perfect album. They...
