Re: Some Yes what-ifs

The Ladder not so much, and the Keys material not at all. Magnification only had 2-3 cuts played live, and that's a BIG shame. When you don't tour your new material, you become a nostalgia act, unfortunately. Ladder got plenty of exposure on the tour documented by House of Yes. Agree that Mag didn'...

Re: Wow where'd everybody go?

"Is there anybody out there??" Hello Eric, just an occasional drop by to see if there is still a "heartbeat". I've found other sites that offer a "bit" more traffic thus conversations tend to go on for multiple of pages. But yeah very little to talk of in the world of Yes. Perhaps the "rumors" of ne...

The Machine

I had a wonderful experience on Sunday night seeing the Pink Floyd cover band The Machine. They had an incredible light show to compliment what I considered to be a dead on replica of Pink Floyd's catalog. Mind you I'm not suggesting it was like listening to the record note for note but rather the l...

Re: Photo signed by Jon and Rick

I've acquired a photograph of Jon and Rick, which they've both signed :) . Its one of about five that were done like this, framed and everything. My brother got me it for Christmas. I wanted to know though, if Jon's signature is actually genuine. Iv'e looked up Rick's and it seems fine, but I can't...

[:u] Ok, this is heavy duty and not for everyone especially if you are high on grass or whatever else you require to get thru the day. But this guy is has a relegious site that is very interesting and he is obviously a big Yes fan. He describes line by line what the lyrics mean to that classic song...

Re: "Bonus" Tracks

In A Word is out of print?! I'm still waiting for the remaster of Big Generator with bonus material. We know there are demos and remixes of some of the material off of album. I'd like to know when this is going to happen. You can still find In a Word brand new condition on Amazon for und...

Live in Chile 1994

Anyone seen this or the clips on YouTube? It's available from CDUniverse. Set list looks the same as the boot I have from Orlando. Curious if it's worth ordering, loved that line up during that tour, they were very tight and played a great mix of songs.

Re: Jon and Rick Disappointed

They played it here in Nashville . . . it was so-so . . . You are being rather "generous" don't you think? When they performed it on the first leg of the tour, I rolled my eyes when Chris launched into it. The couple of boots I've heard since then showed me that it didn't get any better ...

Re: Jon and Rick Disappointed

This subject has been "beaten to death" on another Yes "fan" site. So I'll just throw my 2 cents in and move along quietly. Jon and Rick both had more than enough time over the last 6-7 years to have got off their duffs and put some material together and recorded. I don't discount Jon's health issue...

So far I have resisted. I saw that hilarious YouTube of the guy reviewing these and it made me think eventually I'll most likely sink some $'s into buying them.
What's the video footage tacked on the end of each disc like?

U2 Concert

I saw their show on Thursday night in Charlottesville Va. They had a spectacular stage set up with all sorts of cool visuals / lights etc. Coupled with a full moon as a back drop it made for a very nice evening indeed.
The band was very tight (as expected).

Another show just went up on BigO. This one is from the 1977 tour, the last with Steve, looks like a nice one. I've just downloaded the first part so I don't know what it sounds like just yet. Grab it while you can.

AWESOME!! Glad I decided at the last minute to go. Wow, they were better than last fall when they came through Richmond. Steve is the MAN! I was lucky enough to arrive around 6:15 and was standing on Steve's side right next to the fence surrounding the "expensive" ticket holders. So I got to see him...
