Re: On banning Yestalk members/Online Harassment

I've been out of pocket here for the last week due to my internet being down at home, and illness. Thanks to all the mods who weighed in here. Political discussions tend to get VERY heated. When you're dealing with folks who are passionate about what they believe, and their views differ, it's going...

Re: The U.S. Presidential Election

Personally, I find that some comments say more about the commentator than the person to whom the comment is directed. The choice of whether or not to respond, or how to respond, is always ones own. Bear in mind that responding in kind not only rewards such comments, but also puts one in an equally ...

Re: The U.S. Presidential Election

I would also like to add that if I read any more insults by fellow members here toward one another, there won't be any second chances. This is supposed to be a more mature, laid-back site and from the looks of things, it's headed in the WRONG direction. One does not have to agree, but we will refra...

Terry Shea: "Well now I know for certain that you're out of your mind" You are violating terms of use with that statement. That is online harassment. I have the right to my opinion. You may be monitored and reported. Just remember that if the moderators were more liberal, you'd be censored, not me....

Re: On banning Yestalk members/Online Harassment

I suppose I will just continue to turn the other cheek and be insulted, be harassed and derided by certain online bullies here.. I have no power at all. I will never win. Greenglade, the victim here. GF, once again you're projecting your own behavior onto others. Don't take this the wrong way, but ...

Re: On banning Yestalk members/Online Harassment

I'm really sick of turning the other cheek, being the nice guy and getting trampled on by the Hawks. The opinions I express in the political threads are pacifist and are against cruelty to humanity as a whole. I am against oppression and violence(not to mention US foreign policy--remember Hiroshima...

Your right , Perhaps they are taking the total number of abortions and dividing by the amount of woman to come up with that percentage. sorry I should have posted a link http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html Yeah, something really isn't adding up. If 47% of women who have had an abortion end up having multiple abortions there's absolutely no way 43% of all women have had or will have an abortion if we've had "only" abo...

I would like to point out that Bill Hemmer was a long-time CNN anchor- he was there for ten years. Wiki says he only left CNN because they wanted to make him their senior White House Correspondent in DC and he wanted to remain in New York. Does that mean I can date him now? If your only ...

I remember some arguments I had before, and in general the clincher was always my question: "Will you go fight in Iraq or overseas for the USA?" "Do you live your religion that you profess?" Always, the question was avoided by my opponents. Or some excuses were given. All talk and no do. My oppenen...
