Alright, I show up 2 hours before tix went on sale for Konocti. Luckily, I ended up being the one and only person there for ticket sales. "Great," I thought. "I'll surely get front row seats." Yep, I decided to spend an extra $20 for front row, if I could get them. Well, of course, as luck would hav...

Yeah, that is a killer idea!! I really like that one. A simple and basically inexpensive stunt like that would generate its own media, in mass amounts. Plus, it would be a lot of fun.

BTW, I'd have to be a fanatic fan chasing that balloon.

How would you promote Yes?

Here's the scenario: you've been hired on as the promotion manager of Yes. They have a new album coming out and it's your job to promote the band and their work. I imagine this scenario could include a tour. So, what would you do? If you want, discuss how you would have promoted Magnification. I, fo...

FYI: Yes mouse pad on sale on Ebay.

Type in "Yes mouse pad" on Ebay and you'll find a seller putting out some cool cover pads. I see pads for Relayer, TFTO, and Ladder. I asked the seller if they could make others and she said Anyway, just thought you all might want to be aware of t...

Good luck, Ed. I'm buying Kelseyville tickets tomorrow. They go on sale at 2pm. Weird time, but that's ok by me. Tix usually go on sale at 10am around here. I assume it's the same everywhere. The good thing about 2pm start up time is that I won't be competing with other events that might be going on...

TVM, kinda pissed off that I missed the AMA Supercross finals on TV. I love watching supercross racing. When I was a kid, I raced a little. Now, I just watch. I'm a big Ricky Carmichael fan. The finals from Las Vegas were on TV this morning and I missed it!! What was I doing. Well, I was invited to ...

Fascinating, Miz. I do wonder if their setlist included more than what the tour actually offered.

Also, I do remember information from Yesworld from last year (at least as well as my memory serves me) that Yes would tour again in 2002 and that would be the Magnification tour. Any info on that?

Maybe we're Yesnuts. Or, how about Yesazoids. Yesfreaks?

Personally, my license plate reads "1YESFAN"

It's the best I could do. Now I think I should have shortened it to "YES FAN" but that would still confuse people. They do ask me, "what does your license plate mean?" ARRrrrgggghhh!

Why is it weird? Well, usually, a tour is a promotion of a new release, and usually a new release of new material. This defies that reasoning. Personally, I think the idea is weak. I might not represent the common fan, but if I do, I would say that I don't buy these "boxsets" because they are waste ...

Yet, another dinosaur from the Mesozoic era. Well, rock dead? Interesting one to ponder. It sure has thinned out over the last twenty years with occasional comebacks.
