Re: The U.S. Presidential Election

Actually Amy, she seemed to handle herself very well. Meanwhile, Obama would like us to believe that he's been "punked" by the likes of Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers (among others) for years. And this is in real life we're talking about, not a stupid prank phone call. Yeah he didn't know Jeremi...

Re: The U.S. Presidential Election

Have to say I agree with a lot of what you've said, 2L4 and Chris... I'm sure you know how I voted, as well... At this point, both good and bad things will happen, no matter who wins, and either way a lot of people are going to be angry. It's just a matter of whom. One thing I will say about this p...

Re: Board update

Ed, the dark look here is great. I'm wondering if it's possible to change the background of quoted text to a color other than white, as it's such a contrast to the black surrounding it - a little hard on the eyes! What do you think?

Thanks, Kota - yeah, busy is the norm for the time being. I've got a LOT to do, a LOT to catch up on, and being with my young'uns is a priority. How are you and how is your sister-in-law, Dean?

Life has certainly taken you to different places lately. It sounds as if, for the most part, the places are good ones.

Thinking of you and hope to see you here soon. :)

All my best,
Amy

That's okay, I expected it and it's fair enough: someone was bound to lash out. My main point isn't really about that forum, or how that forum is run. My main point is that its incredible that a member of the Yes inner circle should seek to undermine and control what is, or what isn't said on a pub...

Well that is why I prefer the chats that include listening to same music. DA of all the sites is the most musically or band oriented discussion I have been in. I can't remember the last time any of that type of talk came up ( which may be natural if they have been to a recent concert and met up wit...

Re: Does your YES "Flame Still Burn" !?

Hey Amy, Have you read Henry's review of the new album? I think there are those who do like it, I just don't think I am one. I found the samples/tasters almost embarrassingly lame. Sorry to any Asia lovers. I read it, and other than Henry's saying that Steve Howe plays "great", there's little I'm g...

I try to stop my *sighs* from extinguishing my Yes flame these days. I'd dearly love to see them releasing something wonderful but IMHO it's just not there anymore. Listening to the gorgeous "A Dangerous Journey" by Ritual. I'd pay those outrageous Yes ticket prices to see this band again - but I'd never be charged prices like that. Funny, that.

Got my cast off yesterday, and today I walked for the first time since March 26th. Life. Is. Good.
