Hi there,

Im new to this Yestalk group.
I have been a Yes fan for so long that I cant even remember when.

I know a guy who perfectly remembers watching Yes on Belgian TV in late 1970/early 1971.

He cant remember if it was a real concert but it lasted about 20 minutes and the band played 4 songs.
Was this TV show released on DVD ?

Thanks for your help

It's available on DVD as Yes: Musikladen. 3 songs: Yours is No Disgrace, No Opportunity Necessary and the second half of I've Seen All Good People. It's worth it for the YiND but doesn't see heavy rotation in this household. $10 at Amazon:

Thanks for your replies guys.
But my friend is sure of one thing : the show happened in the belgian TV studios (so its not musikladen from Germany) and there were only songs from the 1st two LPs (the last song performed being "no experience...").
The name of the programm was called "Pop shop" and also welcomed Genesis, Vander graaf generator and many others at the time.
Any thoughts ?

Thanks

Yes definitely could have appeared on Pop Shop, but it probably wasn't recorded. The only other thing i can think of would be the Time and a Word promo footage.

Hey! I remember that!

It was indeed a Belgian TV show and, although they only played stuff from the first two albums, Steve Howe was in the line-up when the programme was filmed.

I wouldn't get too excited about it, though. I seem to remember the band simply mimed to the album tracks rather than actually perform them
