Jon's a woman

And now for something a little different...not a true trivia Q, but maybe fun nonetheless.

What female vocalist would you say sounds real similiar to Jon? I'm talking non-YES cover bands/artists.

For me, it goes back to the late '70's when I was playing YES in my car(as usual), and my girl friend(at the time)said "hey, I really like that Grace Slick your playing!" From thereon out, I can't listen to Starhip/Airplane without thinking of that incident, nor how similiar they actually do sound.

ALONG THOSE SAME LINES, IF YOU HAVE A COPY OF YESYEARS VIDEO, HE SURE LOOKS QUITE FEMININE ON THE FOOTAGE OF wonderous stories; MAKEUP, NECK CHOKER, THE WHOLE BIT.

I know this is very ... should i say outrageous? And I don't believe it myself, but I've read somewhere that Jon used to use suppositories (spelling?) to keep his voice "in shape". What about this? I read this somewhere, I know I did...

Well, you'll have to dig that one out, pardon the pun. Suppositories deliver a drug of some type, usually a steroid or narcotic, nowadays most anything. I've never heard that about Jon, butt anything's possible...
