I picked up a CD at the pawn shop, Riddles Are Abound Tonight, by a group called Sausage. I think it is Primus in its early stages. It's Les Claypool, Jay Lane and Todd Huth. I'm still not sure if I totally like it or not, but the music is phenomonal. Classic Claypool lines mixed with almost quirky guitar.... Has anyone ever heard of Sausage? And if so, whaddyathink?

I have the song "Riddles Are Abound Tonight" on my live Frog Brigade CD and yeah, it's a killer!

I thought Sausage was a side band he put together after Primus had done a few albums. Could be wrong. The live Frogs CD I have is pretty cool though. Interesting cover of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond."

Yes, it's my understanding that Sausage was a side project done in the mid 90s after Primus had already put out a couple albums.

Interestingly enough, when I saw Phish at the Clifford Ball back in '96, which was 2 days of Phish and camping at an Air Force base in Plattsburgh, NY. So in between sets the whole weekend, they were playing the Sausage album over the PA.
