Hey Renato, yes...I saw Tater's name in green...but that wasn't my doing. This birthday list here was just a copy 'n' paste from the Talk forum. Perhaps Tater himself did the green, to stand out a bit? :)

Although I do admit, he is an interesting character. ]

Don't worry, Renato - this forum has only recently become the new home for birthday wishes, Yours in Yestalk were made where it was always appropriate to make them, until Other Skylines was born. :) I'm sure Tomfoolery has read or will soon read your congrats. :)

WW, my father bought his first sailboat (an 18 foot Corinthean) when I was 4 years old, and has owned a sailboat ever since... when I was 6, he got rid of the Corinthean and got a 25' Ariel, then when I was 9 he got a 33' Vanguard.. we had that one for 6 years, then in 1978 he took delivery on a brand new Pearson 35'. He still owns that one, and it's in pristine shape.

So, you could say I grew up sailing... all over New England, which is sailing Mecca for the East Coast. Shoot, we practically lived on the boat all summer long.......... and I've never found a place where I've been happier than on the water, sails full, wind and salt spray in my face....

So, yes, I sail. It's wonderful. However, I'm not in a position to buy a sailboat of my own. :( Yet.

Hi Ray,
The birthday thread was in the main forum for a long time, as were many off-topic (i.e., not having to do with Yes) threads. Some are still there, but I think there is room for some flexibility.
Since Other Skylines was set up, I felt it was appropriate to have the Birthday thread moved here.
We'll see how it does, ok?

You mean to tell us that the rest of your life has gotten in the way of Yestalk? Shame on you.
Of course, you know I'm being facetious, Chris. No matter how often you post here, you are still and always will be a part of this family. :icon_appr Come when you are able - you'll always be welcomed!

I just realized that we can check the calendar function, and see everyone's birthday that has it listed in their profile.

So, we might do better to just make sure our profiles are updated, and use this thread to offer congratulations, instead of trying to keep a running list here on the thread. What do ya'll think?

And a happy birthday to Kissdthsky today! Hope you have a great one!

Well, we have another birthday today - one of our 'Yesstuds' - Nolan/tribute1969!

I hope it's a happy one full of music and the things you love! And thanks for giving us so much fun out here - we can always count on you to make things lively, and be a master of innuendo . . . ;)

And thanks for the music and laughter you've brought to MY life too - hope all your birthday wishes come true for you - you deserve it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Is it Greenglade's birthday today too? Or is it his frog's? Or do both of them share the same birthday?

Enlighten us! And whichever it is - hope you both have a happy day!
