Massive shuffle of my ITunes, but at the moment it's a section of a German language instruction CD that I downloaded last year! Right after Baby in Cellephane by Porcupine Tree.

Picked it up in a thrift store day before yesterday along with a Fiona Apple, an Extreme and a Grateful Dead CD - $1.98 each....

Wetton-Downes ICON3 (with a cover photo showing Geoffrey Buggle with a wierd 'gothy' hairdo!). Usual Wetton-Downes stuff - if you like it, you'll love it, otherwise 'no surprises'. Dave Kilminster on gtr is a good addition to the 'icon' band.

'Just a Minute' - silly BBC Radio Quiz, where a panel of 4 comedians have to talk for one minute on a variety of random topics with no hesitation, deviation or repetition.. Its been going for something like 50 years!

We have that radio show here in Sweden too. Not as old as yours, of course, but still since the sixties somewhere, I think...

I'm listening to the sounds of silence. Not Simon & Garfunkel, but the actual silence! Because I blew a fuse trying to vacuum some dust at the same time as I was listening to the stereo (the band Mogwai) and this apartments electrical system couldn't handle that! :(

Currently listening to Porcupine Tree/Lightbulb Sun

Before that was Dream Theater/Falling Into Infinity, and in the car this morning was Steven Wilson/Insurgentes.

Seems like I'm always listening to Dream Theater when I'm on here . . . at the moment it's Once in a LIVETime, which I just love.

Here at work, I've got a lot of my favorites loaded on the media player on my computer, so I'll pick a band, and start it off, and it'll play everything I've got of theirs, which is a LOT for Dream Theater, and Porcupine Tree . . . I'll spend the day listening. I've also got a couple of Nightwish CD's, King Crimson, Adrian Belew, Super Furry Animals, and a few other random things . . . occasionally I'll bring in something different and copy it in.

Was looking for news of the Progressive Nation tour, and stumbled into Dream Theater's MySpace page, which is playing some very nice streaming audio, so I'm listening to that right now . . . currently playing is Through Her Eyes from SFAM.

:jestera:

TWO Shatner tunes - Wow!

I'd LOVE to hear some of these done alongside the bands that made them famous!

At the moment - just saw this thread and realized I'm not listening to ANYTHING right now!

Yeah, but also Nimoy singing "Proud Mary"??!!

Anyway, listening to Herbie Hancocks "River - the joni letters" tonight. Kinda laid back jazz versions of Joni Mitchell songs, but still...

Right now, it's the constant hum of the servers and the fans in the server racks - can't have music in here. Shoot, they don't even allow speakers on the PCs....

On the way to work this morning it was Jethro Tull "War Child"

Coverdale - Page. Their 1993 (somewhat underrated) selftitled album. But especially the blues: "Don't Leave Me This Way". I'm kinda in that mood tonight... ;)
