What are you listening to when you log in here?

I'm not sure if this thread has been done on YesTalk, but this is always a fun one. What album are you currently listening to as you post on these forums?

I'll get her started:

Hi and welcome.

Today I am in a mood for Tales. As I type, Steve Howe is playing the lilting intro to The Remembering. Very mellow.

Well, this morning, as I type, I'm listening to Concrete Blonde "Mexican Moon".... they cover Roxy Music's "The End Of The Line" on this album and do a very nice job on it....... all in all a really good album.

Am I logged in?

Uh, right now, it is The Best of the Moody Blues-20th Century Masters-The Millenium Collection

I don't listen to Yes as much, as they are beginning to suck by over-playing and under-volume(of Steve's guitar). Seriously now, I play a Yes album a few times a month, but try to avoid stuff after '82..

Not to worry, IGS! I think we can consider this thread Part II of "Here To Hear". Thank you for starting it! :)

Actually, IGS, the other thread was way too large and slow to load for those people that have slower computers or slower internet connections... t'was time it was locked and a new one started. I'm glad you did....

NP: Various selections taken from my MP3 collection, notably some live Guns & Roses...

Since I was "denied" going to either the opening night of RUSH (-the Nashville opening night venue of this and the last several tours was sold out front beneath their already booked performance so "Music City" can have less music venues and MORE "urban sprawl"...there's Applebees and Krogers to be built so the Nashville health care establishment can keep it's supply of obese and heart attack suffering people filling their beds, etc but NO, I'm NOT least RUSH always puts out a good conceret dvd of each tour...)
working the Bonnaroo '07 festival for various reasons so I'm listening to the
Bonnaroo '07 "lineup" and live performances right now....

YOU can too...
-click on "Play the lineup"....
or ... -blue-room
-click on:

Cool-I just realized my "new" music room that I stayed home to work on this summer rather than attend Bonnaroo '07, etc will be the same color as this Live Webcast room is....

Hello gang (...and especially to you, tardis!) -

Good to be "back home" again and posting on the Yes forums. Been away too long going through some life-changes and am glad to say that I'm well and moving forward and onward.

Tardis, thanks so much for keeping the Spirit of this "What are you listening to now?" thread alive and well!! I've always felt this was the BEST-type thread of them all ... and also one that I personally enjoy being a part of.

So ... let's get down to the business at hand!!

np: Cluster & Eno - "Old Land"

Have always favored this album since it's one that really "introduced" me to the wonders of electronic keyboards / music. Highly Recommended! :D

Once again, soooooo good to be back!!

Cool cool band from Greensboro, NC!! Actually carried on an awesome conversation one day with their manager (at the time) when he used to run this cool used CD store in Rocky Mount, NC. I believe his name was Steve Stone. These guys are really GOOD though ....
