passed a station today $1.74
the local news broadcasts the cheapest gas in town every night so now people are fighting for the mention on the news as it seems to bring in costumers in volume.

I saw $1.49 in Kokomo, IN on my way down to my brothers' house in Indianapolis on Thanksgiving day. On my way back through on Sat the price had jumped into the $1.60's and $1.70's.

Same in Roanoke while I was traveling over Thanksgiving. I even took a photo! I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw gas at 1.55.

I got it for $1.52 Saturday at Kroger, with my Kroger card.

Yeah, I can't remember the last time it's been this low either - not complaining - I figure it will go back up soon . . .

Actually, last Monday one of my bowling teammates said that gasoline futures (I believe it was for March) were selling for $1.09 a gallon. Now that doesn't mean that the price is necessarily going to go that low, but it's a pretty good indication that prices will still go lower. I've also heard a few experts say that they believe oil prices may bottom out below $30/barrel. Undoubtedly prices will go back up next summer, but I don't think we'll see anywhere near $4/gallon anytime soon. Then again, a lot can happen between now and then.

I heard yesterday that they're now talking about the price bottoming out around $20/barrel and gas could soon be less than $1/gallon. I'm going to Vegas in March...I may be able to drive there after all.

Jumped up to $1.75 all over town yesterday. This thread will now probably get locked because it's so controversial.

Wow, today $1.33. I filled my truck for $36! A while back, it took $136! I was actually considering getting a more fuel efficient vehicle. But, you can't really haul hay or a horse trailer with a Prius. And, my truck is paid for, a rather compelling quality in a vehicle!
