Here's a "Magical Mystery Tour" of my "Little Rretreat" (a Porcupine Tree/Lightbulb Sun reference)
called the "Lava Lite Lounge"...9 lava lamps and counting!!

It's a 12' by 12' office, museum, etc in which I have consolidated all my
personal achives, record albums, 8 tracks, cassettes, cds, videos/vcrs,
dvds, books, magazines, letters and art work from the music collection I started in
1964!

It's ever evolving project and just this weekend a relative gave me my
third "working" 8 track player with speakers and turntable...lol

RIP the "Crimson Room"..long live the "Lava Lite Lounge"...

Music:
Ozric Tentacles: "Erpland"
and
Porcupine Tree: "Lightbulb Sun"...

:D Whoa, way cool. That place is big. Looks like a bookstore. Gotta have an expresso machine/keg beer dispenser in there

This receives the Greenglade Four Star approval rating :D :D :D :D

I think "museum" is very fitting name. You've given me some great ideas. I have a large garage that has simply been used as storage (most recently converted to store all of my tools and power equipment for my business). But "one" day in the not to distant future, I can see all of my posters from youth, and other "collectibles" being displayed. Throw in a few bean bags and lot's of "shag" carpeting and the 70's will come alive!

That's what they all say..BIG!

It's only a 12' by 12' room...I just used the space and shelving,
cabinets wisely...
There is a larger volumn of stuff in the drawers and cabinets than you can see displayed in the video so it is a very condensed but functional room...

Glad you liked it and glad Happyistheman is "inspired" to turn his spare space into a place to pay homage to his musical hobby, etc...a "Little Retreat"

Nolan, it's wonderful! You've done an excellent job displaying everything!

Ditto what Linda said . . . we all need a personal tour . . . :)

You should have a continuous video loop of me singing "The Greenglade Song" on big screen on one wall :D

That Nixon/Elvis pic came from a recent Middle TN Electric Coop magazine..
There are also pics of the gun Elvis took to Nixon and the US Marshals badge Nixon gave Elvis....lol Nixon couldn't "accept" the gun "officially" but I have a hunch it's in his archives/library stored away somewhere...lol
