If it weren't for the internet...

Okay, Tater's gonna get mushy.

If it weren't for the internet, we'd probably all be sitting around listening to our Yes CDs wondering if anyone else even remembered that they existed. Instead we have a whole community of nutty wonderful Yes fans who create a magnificent world of conversation with a uniqueness all it's own.

A special thank you to N2Yes for putting up with my biscuits, Yesmam for just plain caring and everyone else who puts up with my cries for Billy Sherwood. You're a wonderful, intelligent, sensible and fun group of people. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so much fun and offering the occasional support that you have.

Okay, Tater's spilled his guts. Take your best shot. Sorry folks. Just feeling a little warm inside this morning. (Honest, I haven't touched the Scotch yet!)

Tater says touch your heart.

I'm crying. You didn't mention me by name. *sniff!*

PC, who's in a very sentimental mood lately (and only Renato knows it was because I received a very special phone call!)

No I agree with you Tater, if it wasn't for the internet I would have no one to share my thoughts about Yes with. I didn't know so many YES fans were still around - it's great!

Yes, it is really wonderful. Not only with Yes, but with Spock's Beard and some other stuff, it's really great to know you're not the only one.

Youngest one, maybe...but not the only one :)

It is fun to chat about Yes and read other's opinions about the band and their music. Too bad everyone's opinion other than mine is wrong.

The 'net has definitely helped to rekindle my interest in and appreciation of Yes over the last few years...reading people's thoughts, perceptions, interpretations, discoveries, has definitely fostered more of all of that in me. And in the days before the 'net, I'd have to rely on radio stations, publications or word of mouth to know what was new with the band-and sometimes by the time I found out, it wasn't "new" anymore! I am very thankful that sites such as this one exist. It is a constant learning experience, as well as a vehicle for delivering moments of high entertainment !

There is a definite satisfaction in the act of sharing, and it is great to know that there are other folks out there who are on not only the same page as you, but the same sentence. Very cool indeed!

Total agreement with you, Tater! This place has become as much a part of me as my left foot ( sorry, Daniel-Day ). When much of one's interactions on the net can be so unfulfilling, this one always seems to satisfy!

BTW, don't bother thankin' me, Tater. It takes two to tango my friend!

AAAAAAAAAAAwww.... everybody is always falling over N2, and what have he done lately? Just wondering around, posting nothing new, nor old. He hasn't showed up on the room for a long time and still everybody thanks him. Grrrrrrrrrrr . After all, what does HE do?

Anyway, thanks Chris.

And of course I know what you mean by that, Meesh.

Long before the 'puter, I thought I was the only Yes fan left in the world. It was a lonely life! I feel like you are all another family! I thought about all of you on concert day! I couldn't wait to log on and post my experiences. I don't have really have friends who could really understand my excitement when it comes to Yes. They only shake their heads in pity! But I know I can always come here to get the Yes skimishes out of my system!

AWW Tater, you are a good guy, of course I would care about you. I have also grown to care about the others on YT. Often during the day I find myself thinking about the people I've met here or quoting something said on chat or in a thread. And when there are times when I can't get online I feel like I'm jonesing for my YT friends. Since I've been here I've learned so much about YES, laughed at the debates, and shared in the sorrows of others, we're like a family. Isn't that what YES music is about, reaching out and finding the light? I believe we do that here.
