TVM I'm a little pissed. The class I took last week for work was a prerequisite for teaching in the dispatch academy they are starting at the local community college this spring. Well, now there's another class they want us to have! This is the first mention of it and there's probably not time enough to take it. So there goes a lucrative part-time job out the window, unless they change the requirement. That they might do, since they may not have enough instructors ... but in the meantime, I'm still annoyed!!!

TVM I'm at work, getting caught up after being out for a few days.
Apparently I had a reaction to Celebrex, which I was taking to help with a case of tendonitis in my left hand. The reaction produced measles-like symptoms (without the high fever) and were somehow contagious, at least to Mrs. Mola Mola!
Things are fine now---my color has returned to normal. Thankfully the hand is better too, so maybe this won't happen again!

TVM I'm at work but having lunch at my desk and cruisin' the site. Playing music and reading the posts. I got some old CSNY on now but will put on some Yes in a moment. If anybody uses AOL IM - I'm on all day under screen name "yesandno50". Say hi! Now what should I put on? Any suggestions? I have a lot of Yes on real player but unfortunately not all.

at This Very Moment, per usual, I'm sitting at my desk at work, playing with the Spongebob Squarepants and DragonBall Z toys that decorate my office (must also say that I've got a Godzilla toy and a Gamera toy that are involved in the party!) I'm reading what others are doing that frequent this site and I'm seriously considering going into business for myself so I don't have to find ways to get my mind off of my job which is, according to my doctor, really killing me! (whew!) I've also had Dreamtime running through my head all day--and I haven't listened to MAG in several weeks! It must be a sign from Aten!

Just got up and having my moring gallon of coffee.
Trying to figure out what to wear to tonights YESshow in South Bend IN. Its been so cold here, yes I know winter has barely started but it unusually cold here right now. Have to figure out how soon to leave here so I can get there with plenty of time to try and meet some YESfans before the show, although I'm usually running in the door right before the house lights go off. Plus tonight I'll find out if I like PT or if I'll be at the bar waiting for them to get off stage
Peace ya'll

Thank you Simon. Me too!
And on that note, Guild, it's good to see you back here too, and I hope you're doing better as well!
TVM I'm still recovering from a gig last Sunday night with Shaun Guerin, who is our singer/secondary drummer with the Genesis trib band. We were up against the World Series for a good turnout, and unfortunately the Series won. But we still had a good gig.
Also ATVM I'm praying for the recovery of our bassist, who had a stroke a week ago Tuesday...he may be an atheist, but I'm not! He's recovering quickly, but methinks that it'll be a while before he's well enough to resume normal activity.
Since he couldn't do the gig, and we couldn't cancel, we came up with some clever solutions to let "the show go on"--a few of our friends graciously showed up to sit in at very short notice.
Highlight for me: After almost 32 years on the planet, I finally got to play a Mellotron and an ARP Pro-Soloist....which were brought to the gig by a keyboard collector here in the LA area....he's been supplying the LA Progfests with instruments since their inception (93? 94?) What a thrill....and he's a very nice guy to boot.
---Matt, waiting for Saturday to get tix for the Universal show (12/5)

Matt, we'll be thinking of your bass man though it sounds like you had a hell of a gig.
At TVM I've just been browsing the reports of the mighty Luton Town's famous victory at Crewe last night. A 440 mile round trip made well worth while by a late winner.
And United got hammered! Just a shame it didn't matter much.
Simon.

Jermaine, that's too bad about JamMaster Jay. I don't know too much about the rap scene, but I do see that it is empowering many people in a good way to take responsibility for their own lives. It's too bad that the only press that seems to get out is the about bad people involved, instead of the good that is done. I'm sorry about your loss.

TVM, I'm still blissed out having seen last Monday, as well as hearing the 2002 Alanis Morissette CD, Under Rug Swept. Talk about enlightening.
Anyway, I'm on a mission. I'm tired of working 9-6 to help a mega-corporation get bigger. I'm trying to see about the viability of starting my own business. I'm hoping that I can find people willing to pay me to help them find a way to relax. The crux is getting people to realize that relaxed thinking is more productive than tense thinking, and that someone who has studied relaxation as much as I have could be helpful in starting them towards a more relaxed life.

jermaine, i'm not a big fan of rap but i did enjoy run dmc doing 'walk this way' with aerosmith. it was something very fresh and i'm sure it helped aerosmith to get back in the limelight. don't know much of rap artist and how big they are but if his death to rap fans is what the loss of lennon and george harrison is to rock fans (at least me), then it's a big loss. peace bro!

ATVM I'm listening to my daughter read me a book. Have spent the last few days resting, resting, resting. Frankly I'm getting tired of resting! LOL
The recovery appears to be going well, I slept 4 hours this afternoon and did feel better when I woke up. I'm just getting a little impatient about doing things around here.

Yesmam, hang in there, hope the recovery goes well!
At TVM I'm smiling having seen the Quo last night, I may report on it in Alternate Tunes but it restores your faith, it really does. A couple of hours of Quo wipes out the memory of the endless stream of manufactured rubbish on TV these days.
Simon.

Something interesting was offered to me out of the blue on Friday, and it's sure to be of interest to the majority of you.
TVM I'm recovering from a rough week with little sleep. I got to sleep around 8 am Sunday morning and woke up at midnight, if that tells you anything.
Saturday night I had to work forced overtime. I was expecting that to happen Sunday night so I stayed up all day on Saturday getting errands done that I was sure I wouldn't have time for on Sunday. So much for my psychic abilities. *shrugs*
