I *think* it's Roseanna, repeatedly or something very similar.

Sometimes Jon uses MANY obscure lyrics to convey one simple thought. Here's an example - he wants to convey appreciation for the looks of awe he constantly receives from Yes audiences as they sit and experience Yes music in a live setting. Instead of saying "Thank you for trying to appreciate these complicated compositions," he invokes:

Faster moment spent spread tales of change within the sound,
Counting form through rhythm electric freedom
Moves to counter-balance stars expound our conscience
All to know and see the look in your eyes.

Passing time will reach as nature relays to set the scene,
New encounters spark a true fruition,
Guiding lines we touch them, our bodies balance out the waves
As we accelerate our days to the look in your eyes.

From the moment I reached out to hold, I felt a sound,
And what touches our soul slowly moves as touch rebounds.
And to know that tempo will continue
Lost in trance of dances as rhythm takes another turn,
As is my want, I only reach to look in your eyes.

Clever, huh?

if i played the lyrics to anyone not knowing YES or hearing that song before, i don't think they could possibly figure out half those words

sometimes, we don't hear a word but KNOW it by its context
and in a song like SOUNDCHASER, there IS no context, lol

it seems anyway

love the bass though

I just remembered another one: Last night I had my buddy over for a Yes concert party, and we watched my YesSymphonic Live DVD, his first yes viewing (my first time actually watching it from start to finish). We had pizza, a 2 liter of rootbeer & popcorn. It was great. He recognized ISAGP and started singing along- didn't even know it was Yes!

During Ritual, I heard lyrics that I remembered being confused about. I thought they were singing:

"Asking for asking for
The *saw-horse*
The *saw-horse*
The *saw-horse*

I remember a few years ago thinking that "sawhorse" seemed a strange lyric to be sung in this song, so I looked it up on Yesworld and found out it was really "the source". :)

I always thought the end of TBO was "Some day, sun light"; what do you all think?
