Olias7 must be on vacation! He's usually posted several things by now! LOL

Today it was Yes - The Ladder, then some Rush - Live in Nashivlle 5/26/04, followed by some Led Zeppelin - Live in Mobile 5/13/73.

Hmmm - what to play for the drive home today?

Think it will be Yes - Nashville - Masterworks tour!

Actually, the excellent song by Ozzie was just ending as I keyed that previous posting so ----

np: Avril Lavigne - "Tracks"

This is a special 6-track compilation that I put together on a 3" CD-R and I have catagorized all of these special discs as the "Pocket Music Series" in various volumes / stages. This particular collection of songs by this amazing young singer features the first five tracks taken from her debut album ("Let Go") and ends with her latest single "My Happy Ending" taken from her equally excellent follow-up!!

"Losing Grip" jamming now .........

(Thanks, Soulseek!)

I guess I'm dealing with some type of "youth revisited" moment lately or something here ... I dunno, but lately I've really gotten into Avril Lavigne! This girl's voice is downright incredible and her songs out-n-out RAWK!!

np - "Let Go" (her debut album)

Here! Here!! topo, I totally agree with you on the excellence of this debut solo release by the former lead singer of Genesis (aka Genesis "pre-Collins" - So sad to know that most younger people think of this band's original lead singer as Phil instead Peter and being totally unaware of the sheer Magic that Gabriel brought to the stage with his mysterious presence, etc. ........ but I digress.). I'm especially partial to the tracks "Slow Burn" and "Down The Dolce Vita" plus I think that Bob Ezrin did one hell of a job here as the album's producer. His typical use of the usual grandiose approach to each song really pays off in the "chills" department, as far as I'm concerned! Of all the solo albums that Gabriel has released over the years, this debut is definitely my all-time favorite. I never ever got tired of playing my vinyl copy many moons ago and now i play my CD copy of it equally as much!

You're listening to a good one there, topo! Good job! :dazzler1:
