Great to see you have a few gigs that i can actually attend.
Last time i saw Fragile was in a pub in Croydon about 6 or so years ago. You guys had just got a new guitar player, i think it was his first gig or something.
Well i will definately be at either St Albans or the gig in Walthamstow with my girl. If you are as good as when i first saw you, she will love it and please, i hope you guys don't stick solely on the Fragile/Close to the edge era.

But they've played St Albans and the Standard several times!

And I think I must have been at the same gig as you if the pub was the The Gun, tough place to find from out of town!

Say, Simon, any chance of your guys coming over to America anytime in the future? I'd really be interested in seeing them.

Yes that pub name sounds familiar.
Yes i know they have played those venues a few times but i have never been able to see them on the dates they have played those venues due to other commitments. I dread to think how many times i have missed them because of it !

I know that they would really love to. Problem is money, to finance such a trip they'd have to pull in pretty big crowds over several shows which is regrettably unlikely. If they were all your free and single they would probably do it tomorrow but not now they're all family men.

I might well be up for a short trip to Poole - it would be nice to catch up with Steve et al again and finally to meet you old boy.

I saw Fragile last year when they played Mr. Kyps in Poole. They were indeed excellent and captured the Yessongs era of the band very well. I will definitely make the effort to go and see them again and I'll try to drum up a bit of support.

Nice one. What's the capacity there? It would be good if we could sell the place out!

Does FRAGILE have a website? Any downloadable music or video clips? Pictures? Set lists??

I'm stranded in the U.S. and can't make it over to see them in person.

Sure . . . just head over to www.yestribute.com.

There aren't any current working MP3's or anything but I'll be adding some to the archive sitre soon and will update this thread when I have done it.

Well what can I say? Fragile were HOT.

Mr Kyps has to be one of the best places for live music. The sound system was excellent, the beer warm and the atmosphere electric.

From the great start of YES sound bites going into the Firebird Suite to the Encore of Roundabout and Endless Dreams this was a gig to remember. The band were as tight as ever and just how do they get so close to the right sound I will never know. Steve Carney is getting better everytime I've seen Fragile. OK no Jon Anderson but brings something fresh to the YES songs. Good on them to do tracks from Drama..Machine Messiah was rocking.

Steve Carney...Just Brilliant

Jon Bastable...Got that Bass Rocking AKA Chris Squire

Mitch Harwood..Great sticks, most of the time you couldn't see him behind his kit, might have been Alan White for all we knew

Tom Dawe...Made the only mistake of the night  Good solid backing on rhythm quitar.

Max Hunt...Or was it Patrick Moraz? Superb keyboards, I found a replacement for Rick if YES want to carry on touring after 2006

OK so I enjoyed it last night. It's been over a year since I last heard YES music live at Powderham Castle and needed my fix desperately. Roll on Thur 8th September when I can get to The Brook at Southampton
