Fragile and Steve Howe - June 9th!

I can barely believe it! But Fragile are going to be appearing with Steve Howe on June 9th, this will all take place at the Robin 2!

From the Fragile site . . .
Fragile return to the Robin 2 on the 9th June with a unique show which will feature an appearance by none other than Yes guitar legend Steve Howe. Steve has added the date to his schedule of European solo dates for June 2005 and will perform on the evening both as a solo artist, and with Fragile the UK and Europe's premiere Yes tribute act.

After all the years of supporting Fragile it's fabulous to see them get this kind of reward!!! I'm certainly going to be there! For more about this and for all about Fragile go to . . .

Wow! That's pretty awesome. Sneak in a video camera, dude. I gotta imagine he'd come out on stage with them for at least one track. That'd be pretty sweet.

It would be nice to have a ligit DVD of this one. Man, what an honor for the band. Howe's one generous guy.

Yep! It's better than that. It will be an hour of Fragile, 30 mins of Steve solo and then Steve will join the band for a number of Yes classics to round off the evening. It should be awesome!

I don't have a decent vid camera unfortunately. I might have a go with mine but likelihood is it will come out crap!

Just to be clear I'm afraid that I don't have an ounce of the kind of talent it takes to be in the band but I've helped them plenty over the years! At least I'll finally get to meet Steve and swear at him for the years I spent trying to learn Mood for a Day.

Apparently it was awesome . . . you're right work sucks. And now I don't think the Fragile guys are talking to me any more because I didn't make it there . . . c'est la vie.

Onwards and downwards!

Simon,

If you get stuck for getting down to Poole, I'll be coming past Pompey and the Volvo will have spare seats.

Cheers, cool offer, where was it you were coming from?

I am hopeful that I can take a couple of people with me though so let's see where the land lies nearer the time.

By the way, what Volvo have you got and is it any good, I need to choose a new company car soon

Simon,

I'll be travelling from West Sussex, so along the A27 from Chichester.

I have a Volvo 850 2.5 20V estate with the S pack fitted (so alloy wheels, climate control..great in this weather, sports suspension and uprated brakes.) I had a 850R but it was written off for me :icon_redx . This one is quick but nothing on the R

850???? Never heard of it, sounds like fun though :)

Even if the car thing doesn't work out we need to meet up for a pint at the gig!

Let's talk in a couple of weeks to iron things out!
