Syd Barrett, God bless him. However, his presence was really only felt, IMHO, on tPatGoD ( how's that for an abbreviation? ). Instrumental because alot of it initially, was his idea, that style, I guess you could say. However, it was the fusion of Waters, Wright and Mason with, of course, Gilmour later on that made this band what it was. Gilmour and Waters made sense of Barrett's musical chaos and brought melody to it. May he rest in peace in that wild asylum in the sky!
