Wasn't it Pearl Jam that got this movement going some time ago? The proverbial ball seems to have gotten dropped somewhere along the way. It is beyond question, a legitimate petition though it's wording is a little weak. The mispellings alone are enough to drive ya crazy. When going up against a monopoly the size of TicketBastard, it is well advised to present a knowledgeable and capable front. This one is not there yet. Shall we here start another? I'm game. No reflection on you, Miz...not at all. It really does need to be polished a bit though.

TICKETBASTARD...we hate them yes we do!
I always add at least $10.00 Per Ticket when I'm ordering tickets because of all the "fees" that TICKETBASTARD adds on to Each ticket!
And don't even get me started with all the tickets that automatically go to the ticket "brokers" and radio stations.
When Rush tickets went on sale here, the whole first five rows went to the local rock n roll radio station!

E-tickets? Haven't heard of that one, yet. But, sounds like a good idea, especially if you could get them from the venue. That would certainly take TM out of the picture.
I hate to be a pessimist, but ticketmaster is a monster, a giant, and a difficult one to beat or change. I foresee their monopoly continuing.

Just a heads up for all who might be interested. I signed the petition as well, but, with a caveat. In other words, at the bottom of that joke of a petition is a 'comments and suggestions' box which I e-mailed to. MISTAKE...returned, allegedly from Postmaster ( bullshyte ) with a virus attached ( Klez.32? ). I talked to someone in the know, more knowledgeable than myself ( a simple task ) and they said that these online petitions are notorious for this sort of activity and that the more respectable ones have deleted the request for e-mail address for this very reason. So, be forewarned! Miz, you realize of course, that this has absolutely no bearing on you.
