DITTO: If they would "play" "MUSIC CITY" we: 10,000+ (like at MASTERWORKS) strong would come see them play..why not THE RYMAN??? John Fogerty sold out two nights, so did James Brown, Beck, Grand Funk, Matchbox 20 and so on.........I bet Johnny Cash would go....maybe they would get him on stage and they could "cover" RING OF FIRE......see what happens when you go thru YESdepression....Steve does play a mean steel guitar.....
I feel bad that I can only make it to ONE show for each leg of the tour in the USA. I was SOOO thrilled to FINALLY get to go to one of YES' pre-tour practice/shows. They finally did one in Seattle. That was awesome and informative, as I could hear them from outside before the doors opened play one transition over and over for at least a 1/2 hour! I'm glad Alan lives here. I was wondering when he'd finally get the band to do rehearsals in HIS town! :-)
Yeah, so the set list is the same, or close. I'm a prog-rock guitarist myself. This stuff is HARD to play, especially when they have to rely off each other for cues. It's not like other bands that have 3 chord wonders that can just change the whole set list around on a whim. So, I have to give them credit for that.
Mostly I go to YES for how the music makes me feel. I have found few bands that can tap into such "High Vibration Go On..." kinda thing! I've got my tickets (me and my YES Buddy) for the NW part of the tour!!!

I was seriously happy to have seen the 2nd leg at Columbus, OH. So much so that I'm considering going to the Akron show, that's on a Friday night, so I'd have to take only half of day off.

Go for it Jack!
How can anyone get too much live Yes?

I think I may have... I think actually enjoyed Porcupine Treee more than YES...
They butchered Sibererial Katru and Close to the Edge to where it sounded like band class when everyone is just messing around tooting their horns and crap..
I honestl think they purposly playes all out of time for those songs. It just didn't sould like Yes.. The Chicago Venue in august was a much better show..
After that it was a great show... If they are going to pla roundabout play it right.. They played it with no emotion.. All I could hear them playing was, "Let Me Off This Stage" for the encore at south bend..

I honestly think they played all out of time on purpose to be funny.... Recently everything is one big joke.. I agreee it is cool to have fun... Don't butcher songs on purpose just so they can roll all over the stage laughing about it.. It just didn't sould like Yes.. The Chicago Venue in august was a much better show..
Did Yes recently hire a cover band for the second leg?
